I'm sorry if this has been brought up already but just a small thing I noticed while trying out this mod was that 1/8 blocks that are either in your hand or dropped appear as bright as they are in day during night time. It's nothing big just something I noticed :3 Great mod BTW.
When removing microblocks with pickaxe, it gives me empty blocks. When i try to put empty block on ground, game crashes
Not enough information to help. Which version of Microcubes are you using (if it's not 0.4.2, then update and try again) ? Do you have anyn other mod installed ? Could you give me the error report ?

These are the messages i'm getting when i'm trying tu pick up microcube. Any suggestions? Maybe the problem is with its incompatibility with PlasticCraft. I don't really know. I'll say that the block & items IDs are set up right.
I think that's because of an incompatibility with PlasticCraft. I will look at it next week, when I have a little time (the problem is located in a PlasticCraft function, though, so I'm not sure I'll be able to do something).
To all the people who are wanting EVERYTHING smallenized: [I know, it is a good word]
I've heard people talking about micro-redstone, micro-fire, micro-portals and micro-pistons.
You're all losing the real meaning of this mod.
It isn't really to re-create the game one eighth smaller.
It was made to make easier stairs and slabs, and to also add detail to larger structures. Asking all these awesome actual in-game effects such as working pistons is just insane.
If he went ahead with all these requests that means he would be basically re-creating the game.
Now that would be a good thing, under some circumstances, but seeing as on the first page he stated that he doesn't have much time on his hands these days and only updates it when he has time and motivation, it wouldn't be such a good idea.
Additionally, all this extra information would lag the game immensely.
In my opinion, microcubes should be only for show, and the only effects that should be implemented is falling microsand and microgravel and grass grows onto microdirt whithout it mattering whether or not it grows onto it from normal grass or micrograss.
This is a nice mod and all, but for me, even in multiplayer, all the non-solid blocks get screwed up, and most notably, single slabs turn into double slabs.
I had to uninstall it for now, but if you could fix it that would be great.

I noticed the problem with single slabs yesterday. It seems like a new issue.
This is a great mod the way it is. Ppl that are expecting everything to go small are crazy. You can create nice detailed buildings with it. Keep up the good work, sorry you can't updated it often, it could be very popular.
whenever i right-click the anvil, it goes to the loading screen and says saving chunks, and then closes minecraft

It worked fine on 1.7.2 with the same set of other mods installed, so I think something must have happened in the 1.7.3 update. I know that Elarnon hasn't had time to update yet, but since the 1.7.3 MC update was mostly piston bug fixes, I thought Microcubes might not be affected and tried the 1.7.2 version anyway.

Got the exact same error.
Let's hope he might find some time to look into it and does an update.
Because it's not updated to current, or in a timely fashion, not released officially and not SMP compatible. Anything with those criteria will have more attention no matter how useless it may be. Most people get bored playing by themselves, and there is no downgrader for minecraft to use older versions easily.
There are a LOT of people who will be watching this from the shadows, PLEASE POSTER UPGRADE YOUR MOD AND ADD SMP SUPPORT, MAKE US FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU ALL OVER AGAIN!
Sorry for the troubles with the version for 1.7.2, the update had been made in rush, with little testing and no de-obfuscation (argh ! *that* was painful) but I thought it would be better than nothing - maybe I was wrong.
Whatever, I'm in the process of updating to 1.7.3 (as well as correcting the bugs introduced in 1.7.2, particularly the one messing with the display of blocks), but that will take a few days because I did my update to 1.7.2 like a fool (still not really used to a few things about modding) and broke a few things.
So, please be patient for a more few days!
(Once I will be done with that update, if I still have time before I go on holidays, I will start working to make it SMP-compatible)
Not going to DL it yet though, might wait 'til its a little more 'polished'.
EDIT: Screw it, I got it
One little glitch I found was the redstone wirings outlines a whole block instead of just the flat outline.

- Torches aren't placing on full faces anymore
- You can't destroy microcubes individually with the hammer without breaking the entire block
Is this the same with everyone else, or is mine faulty for some reason? :sad.gif:
EDIT: I just read about the individual removal in the op, about the uu.clas and os.class. Are those in the extended folder?

MCPatcher's log under spoiler:
Okay, I haven't even half of these mods installed, I disabled them in patcher, but it still detects them.
What do I have installed (via MCPatcher):
If needed, I can provide other mods that I have in /mods/ folder, but anyway, everything should be in MCPatcher's log I think.
Hope that helps.
Or the crash is caused by an already known bug and something prevents Elarnon from updating it to 1.7.3? :smile.gif:
I had to uninstall it for now, but if you could fix it that would be great.
no it literally won't
