Alright I got it updated to 1.7.3, sorry about that.
I'm not going to get too personal but over the last couple of weeks I've been in the process of leaving my girl friends and I'm not very sure right now how long I have to do anything these days.
1.9.4 just updates it for 1.7.3 but I couldn't get the zombe's mod compatibility working so I'll contact tanzite about it.
Oh and great skins guys, those screenshots look pretty freaking great and I didn't think you could get a player to look like that Lol.
can u give any images with capes and ears? cant find any :sad.gif:@EditFound but what should I do when i upload my skin and cape to Uploader Textures? when i click Download it downloades something
Just wanted to post here and say thank you for creating this mod!
I spent months installing and uninstalling various mods, trying to breath new life into Minecraft; But as soon as I saw this one, I uninstalled all the others and am happy to say that the addition of HD skins has been more fun for me than Millenaire, Mo' Creatures, or any of the bigger mods out there!
It's also become the single staple mod of the ProjectClanilla server! (It was like a renaissance, the day we started using this. Everyone has HD-skin-fever now!)
Also, my condolences on the breakup. I know how much real life problems can effect one's video-game-modding time. I hope everything works out for you!
Hmm, does anyone else have a problem while playing on multiplayer? Occasionally with this cape mod, my game will freeze and I'll have to use the task manager to shut down Minecraft.
The only other mod I use is an FPS booster called Optifog+Optimine. I am not sure if Minecraft freezing also happens on single player. I haven't tested it out.
It may be my computer, I'm also not sure about that (my computer is mediocre. It's not crap but it's not the greatest gaming rig either). I've noticed that this mod causes Minecraft to use nearly twice the amount of memory. Usually with Optigfog+Optimine MC uses about 380k-580k memory but with the cape mod, it jumps to about 980k.
I'm not a computer person, so any help would be nice. I really enjoy this mod and I'd like to keep using it. But I don't want my game to keep freezing either.

Hey thanks for all the help answering questions for me. I could take or leave the "break-up" it's me not having a place to go that's the problem. I guess I should have said that instead, but that's why I'm getting a bumpy ride and had a lot of absence. Hopefully if they don't update till late fall I'll be able to get things setup to keep everything going inbetween if I'd have a time and place to get on the internet.
Thank you! Thank you for taking time out of your life to code this mod. I've been looking forward to using this mod again. Yay.
No no, thank you for being patient while I couldn't update this mod for a few weeks. I'm going to get the zombe's modpack compatibility sorted out so hopefully it will help.
I want a way we can get other peoples skins to be honest I'm to lazy to make skins
Yeah, I like the mod but I really wished I could draw to the full potential of the highest resolution. Some people have posted capes and I'm going to try to set something up where you can agree/disagree to allowing your uploaded textures to be in a gallery for other users to use or reference for other HD skins so hopefully it would get a database to use.
You don't know how much I appreciate that you used some of your time to update this mod for us. I have updated to 1.7.3 and will now download. Thank you very much.
Well thanks and again I'm the one who feels bad about the long wait so thanks for being patient.

Well I know the 2 bugs I never could identify the cause was
1) Occasionally loading a multiplayer world and disconnecting would mess up on reconnecting to any SMP server until you restarted your client
and
2) When you have a cloak uploaded on 512x256 and has over a undetermined percentage of transparency, it will cause a black box to appear at the upper left corner.
I think it has to do with the 1 bug and all I can do is take a look around. Something's happening that's changing an expected result which is causing it to "de-sync" if you will. (could be with the hangcheck but I've planned to work that system out)

I haven't tried the 1.7 version of the mod yet (server is waiting for a stable Bukkit build to update), but this one happens to us every time we disconnect.
The server host took a look at it, and though I can't remember the exact specifics, it appears to be some sort of duplication error. In that the server still thinks you (or your capes, as the case may be) are still connected to the server, even after you've crashed.
I'll try and get more details if I can.
The second problem I haven't come across yet, as I haven't tested cape transparency.

Good call, here in a bit I'm going to compile versions and exclude a class at a time to narrow it down. Basically you got EntityPlayer which is obviously you that has the change for the cape, EntityOtherPlayerMP which gets their SMP skins, and EntityPlayerSP which has your SP skin.
One of the other classes just handles the deadmau5 ear but I noticed this bug before the installation so it's not helpful. The last formats the textures to render properly based on their dimensions and quality.
I'm assuming one of the Entitys are causing it to hang like you said so maybe this can be an easy way to point out the problem directly. I'll check it.
Hello. I realize this issue has been brought up in this thread before, but I'm having trouble using this mod alongside flymod from zombe's pack. It seems both mods include a .gs class file. Is there a way for me to address the conflict?
Ok, I thought this was funny, this is the text on the homepage once you register

And once again, none of this could be possible if not for MDR and his great mod!
I had my cape for about 3 secs, and I loved it. :biggrin.gif:
