Uploading Textures
The upload process is relatively simple. You register an account with the webserver at this address
Since it has been well over a month without receiving any administrative contact in the accusation that my mod contains content created by another user and caused my original thread to get deleted, and I meet the criteria (I've always met it, they just never actually "investigated" anything) for reposting my mod that the site administrator directed, I am now reposting my long since updated version of my SSP/SMP HD Skins, Ear Skins, & Capes Mod.
Quoting the site administrator directly for referencing purposes

Hello.
Due to the problems between you and Telgar, you're not allowed to repost the cape mod unless you have 100% permission from EVERYONE who contributed to the mod.
Please work out your differences with Telgar privately before reposting, you will be banned if you re-post.
I've done both before I even received that message, but with more updates since then just pushes my mod further away from the accused version containing another user's "contributions".
Again, over a month without any contact leads me to assume that this criteria was the only requirement for reposting my mod and since I've since met it, I felt the go ahead for re-releasing my own mod.
I'll be updating the mod and website as frequently as possible so expect more features from both.
Any questions/comments/or anything else can be replied here or using the 'Contact Us' form on the website.
Thanks

I signed up for the website and stuff but didn't get an email verification link, and yes I did use the correct E-mail address. Please help, and also if your to use this on a server are other people able to see it as you do.

Oh and they need to have the mod to see it or you'll look like your Minecraft.net skin. You'll see them as their minecraft.net skin if they don't have it, if they do, their uploaded textures will be rendered.
Where do I put my cape.png, does it go in my minecraft.jar/mob directory?
I didn't implement the offline mode yet so for now it just loads textures online from the webserver in the description. You have to create an account and upload your textures there accordingly.
No pictures? I'd like to see what it does before trying it..
Meh, I'd have to round up some friends to go on an SMP server to take screenshots.
ummm, here's a screenshot I took to display the InGame clock but inadvertently shows a 512x256 cape using transparency and the character ear skin but without knowing an SMP server to go in for screenshots, I can't get any SMP ones atm.
Hey, it DOES work for offline mode, you put it in the minecraft.jar/mob directory!
Lol, that's your char.png which is what minecraft loads when the ImageBufferDownload is empty indicating your playing offline or can't connect to the skin server. You don't need the mod to utilize replacing your char.png to achieve a new skin, but it wouldn't support these resolutions, transparency, or ears and capes.

It's a placeholder that's gonna allow users to choose what item they drop upon death like how if you kill notch it'll drop an apple and his stuff. Might have to do it a different way or so because I'm not sure if Joomla can throw back a sql variable without being logged in (aka from the mod) so probably have to generate a list when people add to that field, but currently it's unused.
I hate being a newb and not understanding this too well, but if I were to get a cape, wear it, and play SMP, other people can see it even if they don't have the mod installed?
yeah forgot about that, had one from 1.4 but forgot all about it in the "new version; update your mods rush"
I sent him a PM just now
Tank yee.
So, other people who have the mod see my cape, even if I don't have the mod installed? What if I see someone without the cape mod or without a cape uploaded?

Activate your account via email. (Emails within 5minutes, mostly instantly)
Login and use the Flash Uploader to upload a skin or ear skin, and cape.
Normal Skins should be renamed as "skin.png"
Ear Skins should be renamed as "ears.png"
Capes should be renamed as "cape.png"
Only png files are supported in the rendering process.
You may need to close out of minecraft and relaunch to see the changes.

Lol thanks, didn't think I'd get a post that fast, especially from you lol.

Haven't heard from him in almost 2 months so now. It shows that he's been logging in but doesn't post so..

I see....
But what the heck is a "death item?"
Think I will be on here often? Haha no.
