Thanks R-T-B, I used your .ini file included in the zip with the Terrain Variables from one of my older BTM ini's and decided it would make for a great OP pic, so here you go! (font and postwork provided by my fiance)
SMP builds are up. These can be built into hmod using the altinstall method, generating the proper minecraft_servero.jar or whatever. Just thought you hmod users would like to know that. They work on vanilla SMP servers too of course. :smile.gif:

My config file is not being created any suggestions??
The config file isn't created, you have to move the .ini file from the download into your .minecraft folder or a world save folder. I'd recommend moving it into the .minecraft folder for general use.

If the world falls to pieces around you, you probably used too much TNT.
1- default BiomeTerrainSettings.ini made is blank, instead of filled with default values like it used to be (though people really should just be using the ini provided in the zip >.<)
2- Settings in my .ini don't always seem to take the changes in new worlds. Eventually works when I do some combination of exiting minecraft/deleting all my saves/picking a seed number myself (though omit any one of those and I could eventually reproduce it, so no one single thing fixes my issue), Pretty sure to use a new .ini, or any changes to your INI, you need to remove/delete all your saves
Example scenario
Just used a snow ini to get pine trees for fiance, exit minecraft, change ini file to mine, one with 0 chance of snow, start minecraft, load a new world, get one with snow and pine trees. Now I start a new-new world with a person-generated random seed, still snow and pine. I delete all my saves, start a new-new-new world with another person generated seed and NOW it stops being all snow/pine trees
3- haven't been able to produce any pine/redwood trees in any combination of temperature/moisture
Finally got a world to make some, yay!
3- have notice on more then one occasion that I will spawn underground, in complete darkness, or even once in a zombie dungeon. This never happened in any previous version of BTM
That's all I can come up with at the moment, still loving every minute of it mind you :wink.gif:
This is one I created with an older settings list I had, so I didn't want to post the .ini because the frequency for newer items like Lapis Lazulli will be 0 by default. I'll do more, and I can make an install tutorial/usage video tutorial if you need one.

Anyway, off to bed for me, but I will be playing much more with this tomorrow, and fiance wants me to send her thanks as well for your awesome work on PTM. We both owe you a large debt of thanks for your continued hard work on this fantastic and totally-should-have-already-been-in-minecraft mod. Keep up the great work R-T-B.
I recall BiomeTerrainMod being able to hook into Bukkit through a command line. Is that no longer the case?
If that is indeed no longer the case you might want to ask around in the Bukkit forum to see who would be willing to keep a bukkit version of PTM up to date with the latest recommended builds.
I should mention we're due for a new recommended build any day now, 740 isn't going to last much longer and some people have already stopped using it in favor of the 760+ builds.
The name is Genious and after the bug fix in ssp its working perfectly keep up the good work!

I am a texture pack artist who has only released two out of three packs and hasn't updated the download in years...but I enjoying using them. Maybe one I will share with the community.

Is that what it is supposed to do? I used some really high numbers just to see if it worked.
