Minecraft crashes upon creating a new world, i installed ModLoader Beta 1.7.3 on a fresh install (25.08.2011 20:30), and then copied all the files from version 1.4.6 of CubicChunks. In my .minecraft folder there now is a .txt file which reads:

Well, you know what, I just found that CC 1.46 blackscreens on me when entering my world. The world works fine with 1.44 & 1.45, even when I went back to using 1.45 the same world still works. Normal install and no extra mods at all. It's on that Vista/Java6 system I have to use when not at home. Though I'm pretty sure the Java is 32bit, might be wrong? I'll have to test it at home with Java7.
* Even though using Java 7 might help a client, I think it's way too early for Mods to be built against Java 7. It will make mods unusable for way too many people at this point. :sad.gif:

Great ideas! And it looks like the Chests & Workbenches are working fine for the Zeppelin Mod now, but the cart mod would still be needed for moving the chests around while on those moving islands, and for moving items from ship to ship etc. :biggrin.gif: I'm sure as soon as the PullCart Mod has Mobile Furnaces working we'll suddenly see them working in the Zeppelin mod too. :wink.gif: Which will be a very good thing.

Technically it is possible to do that, all we would really need is an addon to the terrain gen code that states that aether terrain would generate at that certain height and nether deep. But it should be really far up and down, like 2000 blocks up and 2000 blocks down. or if we use realistic terrain it could be 10000.
nothing goes on, the cubic chunks is a normal modloader mod like any other and I used a fresh minecraft.jar a new downloaded modloader and after making or entering a world I got blackscreen, I played minecraft since Alpha 1.0.17 and with my old account I'm involved on the Namek, the Sky, the Ice and the Hell on Earth mod so don't tell me to read the instructions after I read them thousand times.
Please tell me that I'm wrong in one point and that I'm just to stupid to read the ****ing manual exactly, otherwise it means that it doesn't work on my pc and nobody knows why.
Why are you so hostile? I don't know who you are or anything about your skills or knowledge. Almost everyone, even those who've installed modloader mods before, who have had problems getting it to work right and asked for help have made a mistake or used optifine or done other things different that they never mentioned in their post.
And after reading those instructions (which are not in this thread so not everyone knows about them, so it wasn't any kind of insult) most have walked away happy. They include more than just basic modloader info too, there are other install considerations people need to know regarding the Cubic Chunks Mod depending on what they are doing.
I was just trying to help, I even put in a smiley face so that you would understand that. And guess what? Did you read my post above? I just stated that I'm having a problem with v1.46 as well. I hadn't upgraded from 1.45 yet. I suspect 1.46 may have been compiled against Java 7 and will test it on my other system that has java 7 later.
* I will give you this last bit of help. You can download v1.45 from the same link I gave you before, which in your great wisdom you clearly didn't go to. It works for me with Java 6.

I'd just like to report that 1.46 isn't working for me. It blackscreens when trying to generate a new world. So I installed 1.45 instead and that seems to work fine. I'm running Windows 7 64 if that helps.(Java 6 I believe)
I'm currently digging through the cave generator on 1.45, and I can tell you it's confusing as ****. Some things make sense, but when you run across stuff like this:
I think I've found the problem with it only generating so far though. It seems to be hardcoded to work in a range of 0-128, the same as vanilla minecraft. Fiddling with it shouldn't be too much of a problem once I figure out what the rest of it does.
I may end up rewriting it to be more intelligent with Robinton's ChunkCubes, rather than just maim the whole thing. Simply uncapping the limits has the potential to make Minecraft lag spectacularly when generating new chunks.
If Robinton set the block height on 4.000.000 we also can dark after 100.000 blocks the sky so and make the player dying slowly becuase he can't breeth anymore and if you want to go higher you need a new armor, a "space suit". (background information: the space begins at ca. 100km if one block is one meter 100 km are 100.000 blocks)
for everyone having problems i believe it is one .class that is acting up. whichever one he posted the patch for is the one causing problems. i cant remember the name of it/packing for school.

Also; I have no idea if it works with the newest versions of CC, but Robinton made a quick "spacemod" back when CC was 1.31. It was just a quick hack made for fun and makes the gravity very low when y=>250. It's in the Extras section just a little past where you found v1.45 .
Ok, i updated java to 7, uninstalled java 6, but it still crashes, exactly the same way!
Here are the results of my tests on 2 different computers with different software. It DOES work fine on one of them:
NOT :sad.gif: working = Vista 32bit? + Java 6 32bit?
YES :biggrin.gif: working = Windows XP 32bit + Java 7 32bit
The results are similar to when I tried kinn's newest PTM add-on. Doesn't mean it is Java related, but you can see why I would consider it possible.

Regarding the Zeppelin Mod v0.10 with CC64k (v1.4x): Once the Zeppelin cfg file was changed from 128 to 32000 or so I was indeed finally able to fly my Zeppelin over y=128! w00t! :biggrin.gif: It worked just fine, even with TMI & SPC & HAX installed (Before CC). What you see in the pic below is my little Sky-Corvette, or whatever I call it in the next few minutes. :wink.gif: It would be nice if the light-sources still worked on it, but its a wip.
Unfortunately; even with the current WorldEdit XT, I couldn't //paste in that Fleet Hanger Mouser X linked to. Just got a java error. I could //load it just fine though. I kept trying at lower and lower altitudes until my entire computer locked up, heh heh. I'll have to try something else.
I wonder, with 0.10 the Zeppelin mod can be adjusted to fly above 128, but, could it fly below 0 into a huge canyon? I'll have to post the question in that thread.

All the items in the zip folder have been copied to minecraft.jar
i have the flowing mods:
-Airship
-Audio mod
-Mo's creatures
-Gui API
-Player API
-Single player commands
-Too many items
It might be Mo's creatures or the airship mod if there any entities or blocks which were placed before the map was saved and loaded.
Regarding the Zeppelin Mod v0.10 with CC64k (v1.4x): Once the Zeppelin cfg file was changed from 128 to 32000 or so I was indeed finally able to fly my Zeppelin over y=128! w00t! :biggrin.gif: It worked just fine, even with TMI & SPC & HAX installed (Before CC). What you see in the pic below is my little Sky-Corvette, or whatever I call it in the next few minutes. :wink.gif: It would be nice if the light-sources still worked on it, but its a wip.
Unfortunately; even with the current WorldEdit XT, I couldn't //paste in that Fleet Hanger Mouser X linked to. Just got a java error. I could //load it just fine though. I kept trying at lower and lower altitudes until my entire computer locked up, heh heh. I'll have to try something else.
I wonder, with 0.10 the Zeppelin mod can be adjusted to fly above 128, but, could it fly below 0 into a huge canyon? I'll have to post the question in that thread.
[EDIT] blakmajik says there is no LOW limit! So we are now good to go!

form what i get out of it it seems to be IBlockIDArray i am m not expert on this but am i missing a class file?
and ps. sorry if the post is big i am new to minecraft fourms and didint know how to make it under that spoiler thing.. not sure if i did it right.
