Ok i believe this is the correct build. Unless I have another left brain 'hip check', we are good to go. Get your copy of the newest release of 'Assorted Wildlife' from the opening post or just grab it here. Again, apologies for the mix up and thanks for the support of the mod.
Great to see these familiar faces again. 2 things; Pygmies use collision damage instead of their bows and arrows, and the snow leopard's tail isn't animated and looks weird.
Just got an error when trying to spawn a Centaur from a spawn egg.
I was making some Faithful 32x32 textures, so the textures were double resolution, don't think that the textures had anything to do with the crash though. I also have Optifine, NEI, Gravity Gun, Tinker's Construct and Mutant Creatures installed.

And post it here when its ready. I would like to see it, as I am sure others on the thread would too. Just a quick note. Since this mod compilation is public and features mods from various authors, please do not use Adfly. Us authors frown on that.

Thanks for the reporting the Pygmy error. I am aware of it, and it will be fixed next update. The snow leopard tail is on the list for model enhancements that are in the works. Thanks for the support and the feedback.
The only reason I am not jumping up and down and screaming is that it's past my son's bedtime.

Sorry to say that LoafCats is not in this version. The thinking was: since we now have ocelots, who needs LoafCats? But there have been many an IM that have wondered where their li'l kitties are. Loafcats will be put back in. Probably the next update. Just a quick heads-up. The drops for the hounds have been modified ( they both have a rare drop). Please refer to the README.

It really hope that more Water Mobs are planed....
My suggestion would be (don't kill me now):
- Dangerous "Big" White Sharks (not like in other mods)
- Hammerhead Sharks
- Tiger Sharks
But if planed or not, its a fantastic mod! I like the Pigmy's very much.
My first mod was the FISHY mod. So my first love will always be water mobs. Those are great suggestions and ill see what i can do after i cross a few things off of the 'Assorted Wildlife to do' list.

As always, thanks for the support. Next update is scheduled for the official release of 1.6. Pending MCP and Forge of course. Have fixed the pygmy arrow hiccup, improved some models, got rid of the resources folder that contained the sounds(its all inclusive now), and LoafCats will RETURN! I am sure I am forgetting some things, but thats what happens when I dont have my coffeh.

Re-add Birds
Add sound for Birds
Make Bears and Snow Leopards passive unless attacked
Make Bears and Snow Leopards tameable with raw fish
Make the tip of Anglerfish's lure glow
Centaurs should jump two blocks high (due to them being half horse)
Pygmies should act socially
Here's an optional suggestion. It's optional because you probably won't like it.
Retexture fish and make them not glow
Sorry for the last suggestion, but otherwise, sounds good?

I would like to add birds, I started a long time ago and stopped. But I may have to continue the endeavor. I probably will make bears and leopards hostile when attacked later on. I want to add some more items to give the player a reason to kill them. The angler bait glow effect has been planned since I added the mob, other things seem to always take priority. Dunno about centaur jumping 2 block, Ill think about it. And when my coding skill improve I do have plans to make pygmies AI more robust.
Yea fishy will always be bio-luminous. You can always edit the glow texture so there is nothing to render.

Massively enjoyed the GreenLight Supershow hosted by RobotLovesKitty, makers of Legend of Dungeon. Watched the Evil Dead remake. Pretty scary. But still a big fan of the original with Bruce. Been watching most of the MindCrack server fresh world 1.6 restart.
As for the 'Assorted Wildlife' update... I have been doing a lot of error fixing. The new MC 1.6.x changes quite a bit of things under the hood. Trying to get this out as fast as I can. Here is a list of planned features and content for the next release.

Fishy spawn eggs as drops(hopefully)
Various Model enhancements
Centaur and Pygmy attack fixes
Skull necklace drops for Pygmies(still figuring out what i want them to do)
