Dynamic Elevators is one of my favorite mods I have installed,
But I'm afraid I found a couple of annoying bugs.
I'm using v1.6 of it and I noticed on my elevators that they would randomly decide which floors
are basements, and which floors are not.
By that I mean I would go into the options and make sure the floors were all above ground, hit "apply",
and ride it to a different floor. It would still say they were all above ground, but like I said, It's random.
The other bug is that when I arrive at a floor and have a ceiling, it drops a elevator as a item,
but no part of the elevator breaks. And since I use them frequently, over 2 days I will have 30 elevators in
my inventory. But this mod is EPIC. ironclad49er, you are doing a fantastic job. I hope these bugs are fixed in
the next version, But THANK YOU

After you configure the elevator you must click on it (Floor bar) to set it.
have you changes blockids? if yes you have to change the allowed .... options too. I had the problem with breaking elevators, too. It is gone when i done so.
I have, clicked "save", started up minecraft, And it GENERATES A NEW [email protected] Oh, and BTW my elevators do not break, they just drop elevators as a entity that you can pick up.
This is whats i mean. If you have changed blockids in config so control the allowed.... options in the config. Because they won´t be updated automatically. id 215 i think.

Hey everybody, sorry for my absence on this thread lately. I've been busy with my internship and haven't had much time or energy to work on modding.
Just so you guys know, I am planning on continuing to update these mods when I get the time, and I should be able to release an update for 1.3 fairly soon (within the next week or two). Hopefully I can add a few bug fixes too since I see there have been some issues with floor naming in Dynamic Elevators.
I'm feeling optimistic about the Dynamic Elevators server - I hear the 1.3 release added some relevant bug fixes for multiplayer that might make it much easier to get elevators working on SMP again.

I sent you a message previously regarding SMP elevators. I've been able to get them working with forge, and have been using them on my personal server with a friend. All seems excellent, and all mods are working alongside elevators. Additionally I've been able to modify the config file so that changes are persistent (I currently have my block IDs 2014-2016) It works pretty well sofar, so let me know if you're interested in working together.
The network code I've added along with mod set-up has drastically changed from your code only the core elements remain the same. (Block, Item and Entity classes).
Would really like to assist you in getting the elevators mod up and running for SMP with full compatibility with the larger content mods (i.e. requiring forge smp)

Can't wait for the update and PLEASE don't make the for Forge only. Can you please make it jusr requiring Modloader also. I know Forge works for a lot of people but for me, I can't use it becuase of the mods I use. I'm not bashing Forge, I just can't run it. So, looking forward to a non-forge version.
