What does this mod do?
This mod adds a Katana to the game.
It is a bit more powerful then your average sword but less durable.

HOW TO INSTALL

2. Open minecraft.jar file using WinRAR or something similar
3. Copy the files(not including the readme) and folder from the Katana.zip to the root of the minecraft.jar as they are

You should make a thread in the modding section where you make mods for people with requests, because I would like to have a request, but It wouldn't fit in this mod because its about this mod, not my request.

Maybe you could make it a little bit harder to craft, so that you need to smelt it, or combine two blades before you can use it. Then you could raise the durability and still have the increased damage.

I had one...
But then I started on the Dethril Mods and I shut it down because my life was getting to be too busy.

This is a older mod that I just updated and gave it's own topic.

No offence, but the special crafting method of katanas make them extremely hard, giving them nearly twice the durability of regular swords. However, with these methods katanas also took weeks to make X_X
So, my suggestion is to add coal and clay/redstone to the recipe so it looks more like a "hidden recipe for ultimate blade"

Katana's are actually really really strong in the old days people spendt like.. ages on making on a regular sword like a templar kinda thing is made in like a day or two.. so the durability should be longer, but still great mod! :smile.gif:

There is a reason the mod is the way it is.

Did any1 bother to read the request thread?

How much of an increase in power we talking? heart damage wise

Also, In the future, perhaps some samurai armor to match?
