If you are asking questions about how-to-do-this-and-that, just go to the original page of the mod (But you won't know what is the mod unless you guessed really good).
Anyways, BEZ MODPACK EVA !!!!! Is there a donate button? and I think its a bit harsh to replace the Mojang screen with AMCO, since they originally created MineCraft. Put them side-by-side?
If you're trying to get different colour wires, just add coloured wool in the left and right columns of a crafting table and the middle column with red alloy. This makes covered wires, which can be coloured to prevent crossover.
Of course this could be not at all what you meant, but it was worth a shot.
Thank you for trying. I wanted the alloy for the new Blulectric system
I've tried to keep everything the same as much as possable, but vanilla added a bunch.
As we can see there are plenty left, even a nice wide space reserved for IC2.
ID codes are not the problem, and I'm aware of at least 3 mods to help with that if it were.
We are out of terrain sprites, not block ID codes.
Feedback about posting a link to AMCO 1.8.1 Rev 8 is correct.
I'll do that this afternoon.
I'm not satisfied with AMCO for 1.0.0 yet either.
New mods and updates happen all the time that's why I update almost weekly.
Every time the vanilla game changes it forces a complete rebuild, which takes weeks.
AMCO 1.8.1 Rev8 took 8 weeks, so expecting 1.0.0 Rev1 to be the same is a bit much.
This is just where we are in the cycle right now.

From id's 123-131 u listed RedPower using those blocks but they are not those are netGUI id's for the display that pops up when you use those machines. Her machines use 1 block and then meta-data. Right now those are open blocks is what im saying. Check the config file for rp2pr4, and you'll see.
How do I turn off the big trees generation as this is what's killing my frame rate?? (possibly as I tried all the other stuff and getting the same results)
Thank you
EDIT: Redpower was slowing me down, have turned this off and its all working great with max settings
EDIT: Redpower back on and better dungeons off is even better!!!
Looks like you are suffering from 2 causes of lag.
1) When you set graphics to "Fast" it mostly just substatutes leaf textures that have no transparent pixels.
This give the graphics card a break because it no longer has to figure out what is behind and inbetween the leaves.
RP2's trees don't have "Fast" textures. They always have transparnet pixels.
2) 'Better Dungeons' has a lot of mob spawners. So you might be suffering from the resources they consume.
You might be able to continue to enjoy the new dungeons by going to peacefull mode for a few seconds.
That will whipe out the mobs and free up the resources.
Then the mobs will regenerate and keep your game challenging.
Or, you can reduce the size of the dungeons in the settings file. Less spawners that way.
This is reason I no longer include the 'Battle Towers' templates for 'Ruins'.
They have many stories, each with 2 spawners. I was noticing lag near towers.
if i download and install this can i go on multiplayer?
Nope. Sorry.
There are too many Singel Player only mods included.
You can switch between the two by saving multiple copies of your minecraft.jar file.
One for AMCO, and another for Multiplayer.
Hello Arrrg, I have played your earlier versions before I greatly enjoy this mod. Today I decided to play Minecraft some more and when I went to download it I cannot would you please upload it to a different site instead of mediafire I am sure other people are having this problem too.
Thank you for the help.
Probably just a MediaFire hiccup.
It's not my favorite download service, but it's free and I can see download counts.
AMCO 1.0.0 has over 1000 downloads so people are getting through.
Please just try again.
Dear Arrg
:blink.gif: I AM GOING INSANE TRYING TO FIND HOW TO MAKE BLUE ALLOY. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. In the process could someone tell me how to make (Colour)-Doped wafer and what the leadplate is for? Thanks
You have to use RP2's ovens to get some of it's new items.
There was an example in "Wizard's Workshop", but block ID codes had to change, and I haven't had time to reconstruct it yet.
Follow the link to 'Red Power 2' page and see the instructions for the mod there.

Thanks, glad you are enjoying the pack.
No donate button. Some modders prohibit making profit.
I used to think Mojang was getting plenty of cretit with name and version number displayed in upper left of every frame of the game while we were in Beta.
That's gone now so I'll think about editing the AMCO splash.
On the other hand, we only get to see the splash screen once, when the game starts.
But every time you go to the main menu we see "Copyright Mojang AB..." at lower right.
This is also where I try to maximize credit to all the modders.
You'll also notice the pulsating text now says important stuff like:
"Featuring '<Mod Name>' by <Author's Name>!"
Instead of silly stuff like "That's no moon"
AMCO is all about giving credit to modders.
I think they've brought more content to the game than it's creaters.
StreetStar is correct about block ID's 124-131. They are open.
Doesn't really matter; we are nearly out of terrain sprites.
That was a copy-paste error on my part.
RP2's blocks used to be there in 1.8.1, all the way down to 121 or so, but vanilla Minecraft is using those now.
So I moved RP2 to 231 and above.

Don't suppose theres any way Forge can fix that eh? Really want to use Weaponmod with this pack!
is it possible to use mc patcher with this? i ask because i installed AMCO after using the patcher but got a black screen along with a message saying my game was modded or not the right version. tried to patch after installing AMCO but some message about disabling mods and redownloading the game. using the texture packs provided makes for messed up stairs and icons.

I think you can. I did in 1.8.1, but it had the same texture/icon problem. I think it was fixed by disabling something else I had running. I can't remember what it was though. I think the HD textures was conflicting with something else like better grass or something.
To get the two to work, I did from a vanilla minecraft; amco, then used mcpatcher.
Most of the textures are from Glimmar's Steampunk, but a lot are my own creations too:
Flowers, Fire Armor (chainmail), Glass, Coral, Wild Plants, plus costom foliagecolor.png and grasscolor.png files, etc.
Also, everyone should still be able to use whatever texture pack they want.
Install AMCO first, then update it with your favorite textures like normal.

Awesome. Coupon22 and aSackOfPotatoes have updated a ton of great old mods.
I'll be contacting them about permission to use.
