Suprise my why Mojang didnt think of it first)
I'm not sure if they give premission(Didn't state at OP) Just hoping they would. Good luck mate :laugh.gif: .
Aarg what did you do to change RP2 ore's name - i need the same thing for 1.0 since im using Forestry it adds tin & copper. I would like my RP ores to be named what you had them in 1.8 - Lead and Something..or tell me what to edit to fix it..thanks in advance.
Oh awesome, I've been waiting for the 1.0 version. Shame that some of the mods from previous versions had to be dropped but thems the breaks with the modding scene I suppose. Still absolutely awesome and one of the best modpacks I've found
I think there might be a little code left over from More Creeps and Weirdos in the 1.00 version. The Mummy pyramids with the bedrock labyrinths keep spawning in my worlds. I can say for sure it's not from the ruins mod as I've already been in and jiggered those settings and these pyramids are spawning alongside the regular ziggurats
Those new hollow pyramids are a part of 'Better Dungeons', one of the new additions to 1.0.0
The boss monster at the end is kinda tough, and be ready to escape when he dies.
I really like this pack, best one out there as the mods its uses are GREAT....
However, Mo creatures crashes my client at launch if I install it afterwards?!
But my biggest concern is that these mods make my game stutter as its generates everything, I have never had that before.
I'm still looking at 'Mo Creatures' compatability.
It now requires a new API, so be sure to try installing that too.
Not sure about the shutter you report, but here are a few tricks for making things go smoother: Press F11: That will toggle full screen mode.
That means your video card doesn't have to render the other windows.
So it can focus just on Minecraft. Press Esc: That will allow your CPU to focus on world generation for a little while.
Usefull when first starting a new world, exploring new territory, or looking long distances.
Then press Esc again and get back to playing. Set Render Distance Normal and/or Graphics to Fast this really gives some viedo cards a break. Set Difficulty to Peaceful If this fixes your problem them mobs might be hogging up too many resources.
Arrrg what did you do to change RP2 ore's name - i need the same thing for 1.0 since im using Forestry it adds tin & copper. I would like my RP ores to be named what you had them in 1.8 - Lead and Something..or tell me what to edit to fix it..thanks in advance.
RP2 has a .lang file just like the vanilla game.
Look in .minecraft/redpower/redpower.lang.
I change Tin to Lead and Copper to Bismuth, which is this stuff:
Bismuth is similar to Antimony only much prittier.
Antimony is sometimes used in making a soft, slippery bearing material called Babbitt
I thought that sorta made sense becasue the two ores are needed to make RP2's slide tubes.
(Although I did not rename Brass to Babbitt, I like Brass).
I should also change rubber.
There are at least 2 other mods that have rubber.
I also usually edit the game's .lang file to rename "Chain" armor to "Fire" armor, which looks like my avatar.
Looks like I left that out of the vanilla textures this revision. Will fix next rev.
However, you can still get the fire armor look by using AMCO's 32x32 texture pack.
Hello Arrrg, I have played your earlier versions before I greatly enjoy this mod. Today I decided to play Minecraft some more and when I went to download it I cannot would you please upload it to a different site instead of mediafire I am sure other people are having this problem too.
help! iwanna play the amco 1.8.1 version but it closes automaticly after mods installed and says this

Dear Arrg
:blink.gif: I AM GOING INSANE TRYING TO FIND HOW TO MAKE BLUE ALLOY. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. In the process could someone tell me how to make (Colour)-Doped wafer and what the leadplate is for? Thanks
If you're trying to get different colour wires, just add coloured wool in the left and right columns of a crafting table and the middle column with red alloy. This makes covered wires, which can be coloured to prevent crossover.
Of course this could be not at all what you meant, but it was worth a shot.
Done button mover is better
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/848267-100-done-button-mover-tweak/
Also controlpack conflicts with forge. But i have patch available.
They give permission btw.
Some of these mods are actually only for SSP. You can't go to SMP or what so ever MP.
Also, just to clarify, TMI works just fine with AMCO.
Install TMI after AMCO as per it's instructions.
And, I wanted to respond to a few other questions:

If you want to help me id be welcome to give you perms to change it
Maybe some mods can be picked up and updated so they can be added to your project.
Thank you for the help.

:blink.gif: I AM GOING INSANE TRYING TO FIND HOW TO MAKE BLUE ALLOY. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. In the process could someone tell me how to make (Colour)-Doped wafer and what the leadplate is for? Thanks
Hope it gets you some more downloads!
If you're trying to get different colour wires, just add coloured wool in the left and right columns of a crafting table and the middle column with red alloy. This makes covered wires, which can be coloured to prevent crossover.
Of course this could be not at all what you meant, but it was worth a shot.
