Dethreaper,
Something is going wrong with 'Level Up' when giving bonus XP for mining on your system.
You should be able to reset your progress (and maybe fix the problem) by renaming level.dat and level.dat_old in your .minecraft/saves/<world name> folders.
The mod won't be able to find the files and will reset thinking you've just started for the first time.
DF416asd,
Your's sounds similar to Deathreaper's problem.
I have not seen either of your errors personally, but 'Level Up' was updated in Rev 7.
Maybe it's getting confused with old level.dat files.
The above is incorrect. Sorry about that.
Don't mess with your .dat files, that's how the world is saved, not 'Level Up' info.
Try disabeling 'Level Up' in ModLoader.cfg, then open your world.
That should reset your progress :mellow.gif: and hopefully clear up the problem. :biggrin.gif:
Then you can close MineCraft, enable 'Level Up' again, and start playing again.
You will need to wait 1-2 weeks 1.0.0 just came out so all the mods are probably trying to update to it Right now the minimap and modloader are the only ones updated

This is a signature, you put stuff in here, just letting you know
May i suggest switching the pack from RecipeBook to CraftGuide? - switching the the books won't cause incompatibilities, it will just make all recipebooks disappear, and if you set the craftguide id up to be the same as recipe books was it will switch them (so all recipe books get magically transformed into craftguides)
My time machiene is not running well right now (must be the cold weather).
Currently I'm only be able to update AMCO a few nanoseconds before the mod authors post updates.
As soon as my quanntum drive is tuned up I'll go farther into the future and bring the updates back quicker.
However, my mechanic says it could take few weeks. :biggrin.gif:

Both are already included using different item ID codes.
And, thanks to 'Starting Inventory' you'll also start with both (and a bed).
That bug with the "Machiene" theme is my fault.
I forgot to disable some of the new mods that were added.
New mods are set to "on" by default if they don't already have a line in ModLoader.cfg.
Could you release a zip file with the fixed configs? Or the only bad one is the Machiene?

Noobercharger,
I'm not getting lag due to IC2 on my system.
However, if you think it's causing problems for yours you can disable it in ModLoader.cfg
Start a new world, if still lag then not IC2 problem.
If no lag then your theroy is correct and you should continue to play without IC2.
Nightfighta,
That bug with the "Machiene" theme is my fault.
I forgot to disable some of the new mods that were added.
New mods are set to "on" by default if they don't already have a line in ModLoader.cfg.
You'll need to make these changes to ModLoader.cfg:
Change "mod_SecretSwitches=on" to "mod_SecretSwitches=off" (makes room for IC2 update)
Change "mod_wkBookmod=on" to "mod_wkBookmod=off" (makes room for 'Invasion', or add "mod_Invasion=off")
Add "mod_Fossil=off" (makes room for 'Mega Minecraft')
Add "mod_BetterCavesAndMore=off" (makes room for 'Portal Gun')
Good luck

I think he may have installed level up over rei's minimap. abj.class from rei's minimap does nothing.
has anyone else tried to disable the minimap, and then not find it in the modloader directory?
i couldn't find it, and then when i tried to disable it manually by deleting the files in the the jar,
black screen
is the minimap in the directory, but under a different name?
please help
EDIT: i do believe it is under zan's starter?
Lots of questions about 'Mini Map'.
Press "M" to open its menu.
You'll see how to disable it if you like.
There are also other optinos like "Cave Mode", a sort of undergournd sonar.
Press "M" again to bring up and enable again if you get lost.
I've got to remember NOT to include the zan.settings file next time.
That way people will see the instructions for the map on 1st play.
'Level Up' does indeed conflict with most Mini Map mods.
The hang up is in the GUI screens for both mods.
AMCO's version is a special cut Larawhan turned me on to, part of the secret sauce.
It avoids the conflict, but renders the Mini Map in the options menus.
Annoying if using TMI, but tradeoffs must be made.
Besides the map can be toggeled with the "M" menu.
I'm also aware of ID resolver, and chat with ShaRose occasionally.
It's very handy, but not really nessasary for me to include:
AMCO is using essentially all the ID codes, terrain sprites, and item sprites in all 6 themes.
(more sauce)
So, simply freeing up more ID codes will not help, we are still at the other 2 limits for sprites.
Hey can i make a suggestion? would u be able to put the titan mod in the pack plz its just a thought though also can u make it somewat more custimizeable then the modloader way some times that does not work for me ooh and one more thing could u update the tales of kingdoms mod to the new version
So you have permission from every single one of the mod creators? Sure.
Yes I do. Thank you for your "concern" though.
I've also made AMCO drop-in compatable for some great mods I am not allowed to redistribute.
And, several modders grant permission only to AMCO.
Permissions (and thank-you notes, and $ending donations, and editing the credits and contents section, and changing the splash screen to show credit) probably take more time than finding and testing the actual mods.
I also send in screen shots of all written permission to the forum moderators every few weeks like so:
That's in case some butt-head decides it would be fun to start making waves.
Fortunately the modding community is nearly free of butt-heads.
Because the mod's awesomeness are so much, and trouble makers are so few there is only one thing to do:
Having fun playing the game.
OMG if i make something the stuff i make it with stays in the boxes even if i already made it
ALSO upgrade to 1.0.0 as soon posiblecan you add a check list so we can pic things like yogbox
It will be updated to 1.0.0 when MCP, ModLoader and a bunch of the mods got updated too. ETA: 2 weeks+
Awesome. I hear ModLoader's already updated, so that's one step closer. c:
