Hey, I can't seem to place mine carts on my track, as they just disappear when placed. I tried doing a simple track on a flat piece of land as a test, and the same thing happened. I see that Arrrg was looking into the problem some time ago, and was wondering if anyone had found a fix for it.
Was trying to do some tests with everything you have added, and I get game crashes to black when I place either toggle blocks, or the secret lever's button or plates. Besides that, everything seems to run quit smoothly, so good job on that.

Arrrg is aware of the issue but he's been unable to find a fix for it. in the mean time its should be possible to work around the issue by moving the blocks in question to another chunk. Chunks are 16x16x256.
Anyone else got a problem getting the TNT and mining laser to work?
The Elevator mod(the advanced one) also lacks some of its recipies and placing a toggle block crashes the ganme.
Just noticed i wrote TNT when i should have written NUKE!!
I can't set off my NUKES!
Also, i dont think the teleporter is functioning properly either.
The mining laser is a bug in which the game does not recognised the laser projectile entity, so its despawned moments after its created, this was a bug that was fixed in later versions of IC, though maybe its come back since so many new blocks and entities are loaded in the game.
Is there a way to stop the buildings, ships, etc from spawning? I can't seem to figure out which mod they're from :c also to change the grass color back to normal?
is any one doing a lets play with this mod beacuse they should and you should put the priemum wood mod it is amazing
also what are some other madds u are thinking of puting in just wondering

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If I've done something to help you recently plz thank me by pressing the green + on the right
I had a same problem with nuke. Try to update industrial craft, it works for me. Don´t forget to backup your files first.
well, spent two hours trying to get it to work, i got the latest non IC2 version and replaced everything relevant in the minecraft jar.
Then added the new industrial craft config...which effed up the entire IDlist system (i thought the ID resolver was suppose to...resolve)...no wait..scratch that..that was when i got an error that it couldnt find "teleporter.ssev" or something.
So i used the
old industrial craft config...then everything loaded...however when i tried to reload my save it crashed when the map was finished loading.
Did you use the NEWEST IC1 update or somewhat older revision which took care of the Laser/NUKE entity bug?
It's a great mod, and fully compatible with the actual pack. (Tryed it myself) It helps you sorting your inventory and your chests, and it has an auto replacement tool, so when you mine, and your pickaxe is broken, it will be automatically replaced with another one, as long as you have the item in your inventory. Pretty useful if you ask me. I'd be glad when you consider it to include it.
By the Way, this modpack is epic, keep it up, and, above all, updated.
Just checking in really.
I took a small break to actually PLAY the game for a while.
Here are some answers to common questions:
Industrial Craft:
AMCO is using and older version.
The latest version did not work out in my testing.
Furnace/ToggelBlock/BuildCraft/SecretSwitch Block Placement bug:
Probably yet another 'MC extended' glitch.
'MCE' changes the way worlds are saved, which is also part of the no-Nether problem.
I still have not been able to isolate the bug.
However, there seems to be a work-around: Move the buggy block to a new chunk.
A chunk is 16x16 square that is 128 blocks tall, and is how worlds are saved.
This is also why it took me so long to reproduce the bugs (by luck I was testing in "good" chunks).
Guess you can't beat Murphy's Law even if failure is the goal. :smile.gif:
Minecarts:
I have a fix ready to go for next revision (along with some other tweaks like ice-drops-ice).
However, I would really like to get 'MCE' going before posting another revision.
That way I can include things like compatability with 'Aether', and 'Creeps and Wierdos'.
Lag:
I finally installed AMCO on a friend's old laptop. WHOA! Lag City.
There you have it: The root cause of lag is slow computers.
However, I feel your pain fellow AMCOhorts.
When MineCraft 1.8 comes out I will probably maintin 2 revisions of AMCO.
One for all-out awesomeness like we have now: HD graphics, no-Optimine, lots of new mobs, etc.
And new cut for slow computers: No HD graphics, maybe Optimine, fewer CPU-heavy mods, etc.

But i must take care not the delete the META-INF that came with AMCO right?
Also...anyone had any success loading the zeppelin mod on this pack?

Good Idea.
Now i'm hoping that Arrrg do an AMCO for minecraft 1.8 '-'
