6) Optional: Don't like one of the mods? Disable it.
Go to .minecraft/config/ModLoader.cfg
Change "mod_<mod name>=on" to "mod_<mod name>=off"
In this case <mod name> would be XieHungerDisplay.
Just tested it myself.
Not sure what you are going to do with all the new food though if you never get hungry.
Try searching just "xie" and see if you can find it that way. also, in your mods folder i believe, there SHOULD be a config file for the hunger mod itself, and you can turn it off that way as well, or change some options.
also, all i do is make it a priority to get food before nightfall. with xie's mods, you can create a campfire or bonfire with 4 sticks or 4 logs, you can use this to cook pork (1 chop should suffice) or if you found cow leather and some salt on the beach you can combine then in your 4x4 grid to create beef jerky. OR, look for a fruit-bearing tree (i don't think lemons are good enough though. try oranges, apples, or avocados) there are quite a few options to survive through the night.
Curious fact, portals textures are messed up unless you install ModLoader Mp, so I strongly reccomend doing so.
Even more curious the fact that that Nuke Bomb works even too well: it blows the world, definetly xD Crash + Unable to load anymore.

Actually, it's not Xie'shungerdisplay you need to turn off. It looks like this in the modloader config file: mod_XieHunger=off

i figured, thats why i told him to search just Xie instead and then he'd find it.
anywhoo, i'm having troubles with the textures. if I don't install the "optional" 32x32 textures i get an apple tree that has an ore texture.... the saplings too. another tree i saw had the magenta 'no texture' boxes... i tried the 32x32 and didn't like them, so i deleted my whole .minecraft and tried again and got this... halp?
EDIT: ...i installed the 32x32 textures and then painterly over that as a fix... but when i sneak it crashes. does anybody know if toggle-sneak is in the disable file? I can't find it..
your modloader.txt file would be more helpful. :smile.gif:
Here's a crash report (BetterBlocks is not installed). A zombie caught fire on a pirate ship (great lava trap btw) and MC crashed. Whenever I load I hear the zombie scream then it crashes.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

EDIT: OK, I threw the original config file in that came with this package and I was able to load my save. So it was something I disabled that was causing a conflict.
Nice mod! I just wanted to report a few bugs as well:
- If you put most blocks into the recipe book (dirt, cobblestone, etc) and keep scrolling til you get to the sloped blocks, if you move the mouse over some of them it crashes the game. Must be failing to find the name for the tooltip.
- Disabling Somnia in modloader.config doesn't work; when you try to sleep it still pops up the window and when you press OK it crashes the game. I had to overwrite my ve.class file with the original to get rid of Somnia.
- Treecapitator doesn't work on the new fruit trees. And Treecapitator does work on many of your ruins, where it probably shouldn't. For example, that big stone tower with the spiral wooden stair blocks around it... I chopped one block near the bottom and the whole thing fell apart.
- Hunger doesn't seem to have the display with bars and icons it's supposed to. It just has a buggy red skull that comes on at strange times with no way to tell what is affecting you (Hunger, thirst, or fatigue).
- This new version is very laggy compared to the last version, I get stalls and stutters every few seconds. I'm not sure which mod is causing it but it would be nice to figure it out so I could disable it.
Also, these aren't bugs but suggestions: Somnia is a little annoying since it makes sleeping in a bed can take a minute or two of watching a progress bar even on fast computers, especially with all these other mods going on in the background. It will also make you die if you also have Hunger running (which is the default), I think it might also stop you from regaining Fatigue in Hunger mod because you're not actually resting when the Somnia script is running.
I think Hunger mod should either be disabled by default, have its speed dialed way back, or at least have the hunger UI bug fixed and some kind of pop up explanation of what's going on. By default now, if you start the game and go digging for ten minutes, you die of starvation and thirst, and it's not clear why or how to do anything about it. (You need to press Shift while standing in water). It should take much longer than ten minutes to start dying of starvation or thirst.
Every time I've seen a pirate ship it was on fire and mostly destroyed by the time I could swim out to it; I think this probably isn't on purpose. Maybe the zombies being set on fire in the sun cause the ship to catch fire?
I know you put a lot of work into this and I appreciate it. I played this pack for hours, wanting it to work, but, there are too many crashes and texture problems. Sad part is that if you were to fix the problems, by that time mods would be updated and NEW conflicts would appear.

there's a lava trap on the pirate ships that causes them to catch fire. IMO it's cool to have them be on fire while you swim out to them, and the important part of them is the chests anyway, which don't usually burn because the water floods in. *shrug*
why is there only a save and a screenshot-map in the ad to .minecraft folder no configs or anything?
o jeah is doesnt work
i thingk these 2 are connected to each other
ps make a amco version without industrial craft
i would suggest re downloading... i had TONS of stuff to put into my .minecraft folder... and you can disable industrial craft (or any other mod) by going into the config file like it explains in the first post.
I'd LOVE to try this out but sadly, when I start it up, I get this error:
