Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and suggestions.
Here's what I'm thinking:
Better Trees:
'Premium Wood' will not work because it modifies over a dozen class files.
Mods that change the class files can not be disabled in ModLoader.cfg.
The modified files attempt to call other parts of the mod.
'More Trees' will not work becasue it adds too many new blocks.
We are about out of ID codes and sprites, which is why 'Industrial Craft' does not work either.
'More Trees' also conflicts with other 'World' mods (mods that add blocks durring world creation).
On the other hand, I can make some more tree-like 'Ruins'.
For example, I could add trees like Nandonalt's giant sequoias and eucaliptus, ect.
The only thing I can't do is the unique fruit and leaves.
SMP Surviaval Multi Player:
Sorry Razor_Gnome, there are just too many mods in AMCO that do not support SMP.
Plus I don't play SMP, so zero research/debug has been dedicated to this direction.
Wide open territory for anyone who wants to pick up the torch...
Also, thanks a lot for using the AMCO banner.
Sounds:
Not sure what the trouble is for you Xadroy.
Sounds are in the files that get extracted directly into the .minecraft folder (not the jar file).
Also, when getting a fresh install of Minecraft, the video engine is loaded and starts first.
The sound engine is not completly loaded at first. Be sure to start a new world and walk around a bit.
Or prehaps you on a Mac? One of the other Mac users was having trouble with audio too.
I don't own a Mac, and so am not much help to those who do. Sorry.
Write back and let us know if you get it figured out.
Lag:
Sorry to hear of your lag FallenPizza, here are a few basic tips:
1) Generating/rendering the world for the first time is very CPU intensive, so is checking for user input.
Press <esc> for a few seconds to allow your computer to stop checking for user input, and focus on rendering the new stuff.
2) Reduce the amount of stuff your computer has to draw by pressing <f> and moving the fog a bit closer.
3) Use "Fast" graphics instead of "Fancy" in the video settings menu. Also try the "Powersaver" setting.
4) Don't install the 32x32 graphics.
5) Handeling mobs also takes CPU resrouces. Maby disabele 'Creeps and Wierdos' or 'Millienare' in ModLoader.cfg.
Weather:
Weather is part of the base game, added in Beta 1.6 (again).
I don't think it can be disabled.
Farming:
I would like to add something, and hear varous mods work.
However, most also add a lot of new ID codes, or require a lot of new sprites.
I'd also like to switch back to 'Better Flowers' by Tonisim.
It's a little more balanced than 'More Flowers', and adds the ability to make flower seeds.
However, 'Better Flowers' ID codes are hard-coded, and don't like to be changed via 'ID resolver' last I checked.
Still looking...
well, im on a pc so the problem isn't coming from there... I will try walking around before having amco install for the sounds to load... is that what you suggested to do or did i understand it wrong?
anyways, i'll try it and get back with the results to you :smile.gif:

Excuse my english, it can't be perfect since I learned french as first language. Thank you for your comprehension

Tree (ruins) idea sounds like a great (perfect) solution.
Farming: maybe look at Animal Farm which uses Xie's Farming mod. Got them both to work with your collection earlier than rev3a. (either rev 2 or rev3)
Something else I do, since I like clay/bricks, I disable the shelves and writeable books (which conflict) and run ClayDeposits and ClaySieve.
Keep up the good work! Seems like you changed the Quarry texture too. It's way cool.
First off, holy smokes, that's an awesome looking mod pack. Thank you for saving us the time trying to figure out how to make them all work together.
I have one question though, that I couldn't find asked or answered... :tongue.gif:
Can this be made to work for multiplayer? :biggrin.gif:
No it cant. Hes already mentioned this too many times. There are many mods that dont have SMP support in the modpack and it would be just another thing to do. I dont even play SMP any more because this makes single player so fun.
My question: Why does my game keep crashing when i go to the nether? In rev2 and rev3 when i attempt to build terrain while entering the nether it stops short, saves chunks and black screens. Theres nothing about this in the spreadsheet and i dont have any other mods installed
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and suggestions.

More farming options would be nice but Like you said it could be complicated,Also iv noticed that the pirate ships and Tree tower like things will catch on fire from the lava they have hidden in them,Almost every time i see a pirate ship its caught on fire :/,And last but not least i find this mod pack truly epic,I started the world you made and read the book and from there went on my journy 1 thing though bugs me,Those Netherack Pyrmids How do you get out of them at the bottum all i see is tons of Monsters and a Big eye.(Jaster Stole the diamond eye Block From it though :tongue.gif:)

Never 'sure' about anything, but I believe all of the pirate ships, treehouses, pyramids, etc. are meant to be enticing, but dangerous, traps: "Hey look at all the cool......oh crap, now what have I done?"

lol,Also if i may suggest a mod to add,I dont quite recall the name but theres a mod that alows for Redstone blocks so they save space and can be used to power things just like normal redstone,Ill try to find that mod and list it.

CHUCK NORRIS THANKS YOU
I ****in LOVE this. I wish you had toomanyitems in it because well THERES TO MANY ITEMS. plus I like to cheat, although make a separate download for that one because some done like to cheat.
You don't exactly remove them---just shut them off. Go into the modloader config file, find whatever you're turning off (Humans+ in this case), then where it says 'on', change it to "off" (no quotes! just change on to off)---remember to save it afterwards.
Hope this helps.
Whitch one of these mods makes all the Tree houses,Ships, and stuff like that? I wanna use stuff from this in a new minecraft do to this one not likeing SPC :/
Greetings all,
I'm still working on some tree 'Ruins', but thought I would take a break to answer a few questions.
'Ruins' catching fire:
Yes, buildings like "Tree House", "Spiral Tree", and "Pirate Ship" are supposed to be "What Have I Done!" traps.
Not particularly deadly, just disapointing to to have destroyed a what could be a nice home base.
However, fire mechanics were changed in Beta 1.6.6, so these frequently catch fire too early.
If you are quick you can prevent it by disabeling the traps before the new fire does its thing.
I still have not figured out how to work around the new fire mechanics.
(Long-time AMCOhorts will notice stone blocks were added to the pirate ship, but that did not fix the problem.)
Aggrivating, but I figure the buildings are still worth including as is for now.
Pyramids
The pyramid has my most intricate trap, so I'm not saying how to defeat it.
Multiple walls move, water is replaced with lava, and the player is forced you into the psudo-nether relm at the bottom with Egyptian eye, monsters and the ultimate treasure; the coveted X-Ray diamond block.
I know of at least 2 ways to get the treasures without settig off the trap.
In fact, hollowing out the top part of a pyramid for nice home base is one of my favorite things to do:
Redstone Blocks
'Compressed Redstone' is by TehKrush I believe. I will look into adding it.
Too Many Items
TMI and SPC (Single Player Commands) work with AMCO, but I do not include cheat mods by default.
They can already can download it as a separate download (from TMI's and SPC's pages) :wink.gif:
I'll look into including TMI and SPC in Beta 1.7 revisoins, (but disabeling them by default in ModLoader).
Mac support
Sorry, I don't own a Mac. Others have had mixed success.
It it works for you please post your instructions so I can add them to the front page.
Clay
The base game does not have enough clay, which is why I added more clay in 2 areas:
If you love clay, then the new "Lighthouse" building added last update is for you.
It appears on/near water of course. The white stripes are sandstone, red stripes are clay.
You will also find additional concentrations of clay in the desserts.
<evil laugh> :wink.gif:
The ia.class file
This file is modified by 'Convienient Inventory'.
That's the mod that allows sorting (middle-click), move stack (shift-click), and other speedy interface funtions.
There are other speedy inventory mods out there, but less stable in my opinion, so I chose 'Convienient Inventory'.
AMCO is not compatable with other mods that alter the ia.class file (or any others in AMCO).
Check the "ModTracker" spreadsheet to see which mods change which files.
If you want to see if another mod could work with AMCO, start by adding the class files it changes to a new line in "ModTracker".
Conflicts will show up in red. Pretty slick eh?

One prob i found with the mod was with SPC,When i used the //wand it does the saving chunks and basicly crashs with no explanation to why it did,iv added a few other mods to it,TMI,SPC,Optimine for speed and Obsidian tools. Also Maybe its just because i cheated with TMI to get the portal guns...seeing how i like to test b4 making,And so i made the orenge gun and blue gun but at times the orenge will crash the game when it shoots far.
