2) AMCO requires a fresh copy of the game!
There are several dozen mods in AMCO, so it is likely to conflict with anything but a fresh install of Minecraft.
Save the resulting minecraft.jar file.
That allows updating AMCO even if the base game changes, and starting at step 3 next time.

Thanks for the response! The minecraft.exe is the launcher. It wont connect to minecraft.net. It gives me Fatal error (4). Thats actually what I meant to say.

Reconnecting with minecraft.net will reinstall vanilla minecraft.
Just a minor suggestion (for your changes that you make). Have a "Changelog" section on your main post with spoiler to make it minimized. I just noticed you post your updates mid thread, which is kinda weird, when I see you updated, but then have see the time, then find the post you made AT that time to see the changes. It'd just be a little cleaner.
Also, I believe you said a few pages back you were trying to get Xie's mods to work. I was able to get the default to (mostly) work, by disabling Thaumcraft (I disabled a few others, but I don't believe they had as many block ID's as Thaumcraft did. I have 9 free block ID's as of right now) and using ID resolver to remap the ID's. The only problems I currently have (I also have Mo' Creatures installed as well since he won't allow it to be in a modpack) are 1) Can't plant regular seeds (you can plant every other kind.. just not the wheat seeds). and 2) When approaching the floating ruins and LOOKING at them, my game crashes. I can get a crash log if you want.

Most people who care about which version of what mod are installed are clever enough to make whatever changes they like.
I've started a new column in my "Credits and Content" generator, but still haven't filled out all revision numbers.
Again, more work for me, which is work that does not directly impact getting the pack out, so it tends to fall off the list.
At this point it's best just to point out that a mod is out of date, and leave a link on the forum.

There is a setting in config file about seeds, may try toggeling that.
Not sure about the 'Floating Ruins'. Not reproducable on my system.
Probably your system is crashing on rendering some mob, 'Floating Ruins' have monster spawners inside.
Disable in modloader.cfg if you like, or use try replacing with the contents of modloader-strange.cfg.
Hey man. How do I disable Convenient inventory? Its not in the config where you tell us how to disable.
I love Inventory tweaks WAY better. its a much better mod that CI. it is 100% compatible so far. and seriously smokes CI.
Anyway.. im not trying to convince you of changing. I took the Convenientinventory.class out but its still in conflict with Inv Tweaks.
Inv tweaks is working. it just has a spot in the config that says conflict has been detected.
no biggie. but it would be nice to be able to disable CI. it is messing up the hotkeys from working 100% I can deal with that though.
Switching to Inventory Tweeks next rev.
CI can not be completly disabled in modloader.cft because it modifies the ft.class file.
Replace that with one from a vanilla minecraft.jar to fully disable.
Then install 'Inventory Tweeks' as normal.

Probably you mean IC2 recipies don't always show up.
That seems to be me installing directly to minecraft.jar. (as last revision reccomends), instead of mods folder (the correct way for latest version of IC2).
You might be able to correct by deleting all "mod_IC2***" files from your minecraft.jar, and placeing the latest copy of IC2 into your mods folder.
This includes ModLoaderMP but some of these are not SMP compatible...
Modloader MP is required by some mods, and others are not SMP compatable.
AMCO inherits the most restrictive of both cases: requires MLMP, but is still not SMP.

You have two copies of 'IC2'. Get rid of one to resolve conflicts.
Deleting the one in your mods folder is easiest, but deleting the one in your minecraft.jar is probably best.

ID Conflict, have to make sure you have enough free ID's to enable the Fossil mod, and then change it's ID's to ID's that aren't used :smile.gif:

You cant have those mods with some of the machine types.
1: open up the config file
2: Look for modloader.cfg
3: Look for ModLoader-Machine.cfg and Strange.cfg
4:Delete ModLoader.cfg
5: Want to have creeps and weirdos? Rename Strange.cfg to ModLoader.cfg
6: Want to play with the outdated portalgun and all of the machine mods? Rename Machiene.cfg to ModLoader.cfg

That didn't exactly adress my question, I was wondering that if you disabled the mod using Modloader, then you could access a server...

Pretty nice but I believe there might be a conflict or something happening because i often randomly get saving chunks, It doesn't happen at particular times and when i go back into the world all's fine. I cant check the modloader.txt because it crashes in game.
And just one other thing, could you explain to me how i could make an installer like this one because im the only one of my friends who knows how to install mods.

That seems to be me installing directly to minecraft.jar. (as last revision reccomends), instead of mods folder (the correct way for latest version of IC2).
You might be able to correct by deleting all "mod_IC2***" files from your minecraft.jar, and placeing the latest copy of IC2 into your mods folder.
Modloader MP is required by some mods, and others are not SMP compatable.
AMCO inherits the most restrictive of both cases: requires MLMP, but is still not SMP.
Gotta read and follow this part of the install instructions: You have two copies of 'IC2'. Get rid of one to resolve conflicts.
Deleting the one in your mods folder is easiest, but deleting the one in your minecraft.jar is probably best.

ID Conflict, have to make sure you have enough free ID's to enable the Fossil mod, and then change it's ID's to ID's that aren't used :smile.gif:
(Sad to say that I've only just discovered this modpack, so can't tell you if there is enough free ID's to enable Fossils too, without disabling something else)

I want to play it legit and I disabled it in the Mod Loader Config, replaced the class.ft file in the minecraft.jar, and it crashes the game.

To disable NEI:
1: Open the inventory
2: Click on options
3: Click "Disable NEI" or something like that
You cant have those mods with some of the machine types.
1: open up the config file
2: Look for modloader.cfg
3: Look for ModLoader-Machine.cfg and Strange.cfg
4:Delete ModLoader.cfg
5: Want to have creeps and weirdos? Rename Strange.cfg to ModLoader.cfg
6: Want to play with the outdated portalgun and all of the machine mods? Rename Machiene.cfg to ModLoader.cfg
