You should increase the range that chest carts gather things so that they will pick up items on the track before they actually collide with them. As it is now if there is an item on the track it will hit it, stop, and then pick it up, thus losing all momentum.
edit:great, now when i try to open it via right click, it blackscreens. *sigh* here's the modloader.txt again...
ModLoader's logs are often useless ofter the load itself.

I wasn't sure if the px.class file was entirely necessary for the mod, considering another mod I've been using is Careful Creepers, but just to be on the safe side I merged the two, if that's no problem (Careful Creepers modifies the px.class too). :tongue.gif:

Moomoo, try updating your TMI files. Chances are, you forgot to update and therefore are using old class files that need to be changed. That's what solved my problem, at least.

The px.class is the Explosion class, which makes the immunity software working.
I don´t know how to merge .class (It should not be possible, though), but I will add a compatibility option.
With this: If you don´t include the px.class, the Immunity software won´t work.
OH I get it, if a Storage Minecart collides with the Magic Chest, the items will be stored, thus, if you have live Powered Rail directly before the Magic Chest, the Storage Minecart, upon collision will store it's items and bounce back to whence it came! Huzzah!
Dunno if its working as intended or not. For the quantom software i can access items in chests from different worlds i play. I set up a network in a world i play all the time then started playing a different world today and set up a network of chests there. I was shocked to see items from my other world appear magically in the new network I just set up lol. So is this a bug or working as intended?

No, I can´t differ between two worlds if the names are identically. It´s just not possible.
(I have to save in a config file, because the NBT is not for static content (Or I had to edit the World.java))
Very awesome mod I must say, but can you have each of these features in separate mods instead of one with different layout? Like make a trash can with textures which is like the destroyer software + normal box etc.
Maybe instead of DVDs you could imbue the different boxes so that they have the specific functions already.
Whenever you want the trash can (a 3x3 box with a destroyer software) for example to suck up the certain parts you want to trash, you can upgrade the can with the vortex software. Add a third slot to the right to include an item you DON'T want to trash in case you mistakenly drop an item that may accidentally get sucked up to the trash can.
Keep, but transform the Major and Minor slots into Ware and Type slots so that you can add the certain added effect with any software you want and the type slot to store/trash/sort certain items you want. Leave the type slot empty and the box can have all types of items or if you use the vortex software it will suck up all items you throw at it.
So the Ware slot could be for the software as it is now and the Type slot could be for the certain items you want the box to store. Use the large chest as usual to have two items (defined by Type slot) to be stored there.
The idea behind Magic Chest is one chest, which is upgradeable. If we did more Blocks, the compatibility and flexibility of the chest would suffer.
Your idea is an interesting solution for Magic Chest, but we did it in another way. Or did I get it wrong?
But adding an option slot for the destroyer software and others as well is planned and will be added in 0.6.

I found an interesting use for double Magic Chest (and single) if your interested in it keep on ready.
I have a double magic chest in my hidden room, major software slot one is the Quantum Software
major software slot two is the Repair software, so when i set up a magic chest were ever i am, say in a mine with my pick about to break i can pop down a magic chest insert the Quantum Software and trade out my used equipment for the new equipment i already have in there as back up and because of the repair software in ht large chest (that is link to my normal chest) my equipment get repaired. ^.^
I also use the bottom half of the chest to store building materials incase i get stuck somewhere at dusk and need to build a fast shelter.
and i use a chest to collect wheat and seeds from my wheat farm that i use water to flush everything into a channel (which i do use sticky pistons from pistons mod to make a floodgate).
and finally if you are interested in seeing any of this let me know and i can make a simple video to show it off :wink.gif:
