Um...can you do a workaround for the Miner Helmets and jamioflan's planes mod? They both edit the px.class file. It would be great if you could. Check out the thread if you need: http://www.minecraft...utils-teams166/
Love your Scuba/Fire Suits! Just what I was looking for!
Workaround for now is to leave out px.class from the helemets (its only for turning off part of the fog) or use the alternate version.
sorry but i dont know where I checked my armor, so could you help me? By the way I made my mod while following zid's modloader tutorials so maybe you could look at that to see where I would check my armor? Thank You

That tutorial was outdated when it was written and nobody should use it, read my posts in that thread on how to use modloader's "AddArmor". The armor check will be in "OnTickInGame" or called from there so find a tutorial for that or decompile the fireproof mod and see for yourself.

sorry again, but i am new to modding and i dont know where to find the addarmor or ontickingame. are they in the modloader.java? or maybe the basemod.java? sorry for all the trouble i've given you but i am really new at this.
I'm using the alternate version for Dynamic Lights, but I can't turn off the light. Have to always remove the helmet. Is there a command to turn it off that I'm missing?

"L" is the default key for that in dynamic lights, try holding it down and move.
I have not tried Aether yet, and you did not say which mod so i'm going to say in theory they all should work except miner helmets. You can use the alternate version of miners helmets with dynamic lights it has a merged file to work in Aether.
os.class from block and tool options will not work with it either but you can leave it out if you don't mind missing some options.
I've been looking, and haven't found the info on it, but how and where do you add the server files?
i've tried adding the files into minecraft_server.exe but i get a meesage saying the archive is corrupted, i tried redownloading, and get the same thing.
figure out how to get it to work, if i modified minecraft_server.jar instead, and then ran it from command window, it worked. Now that i have it installed on smp, i've ran into another problem. the scuba suit doesn't prevent you from drowning, and you still take damage when in lava with the firesuit. but the main problem i've ran into is if you drown while wearing the scuba suit, and it takes enough damage to destroy the suit, the flippers, pants, and tank are removed from you like they should be, but the helmet stays, and it causes the screen to go black, and minecraft to crash.... any advice on how to fix these issues?
I got this error code when I was installing the mod. I don't know how to read it but it is probably an incompatibility with my other mods. Can anyone check it out anyway?

where do i find mc.thePlayer.isImmuneToFire or do i just put it in the mod_armor.java file?
Love your Scuba/Fire Suits! Just what I was looking for!
You loose air you just don't see it, infinite air and fire immunity have not been applied to the server yet.
Add it to your mod where you are checking your armor.
Example: mc is the minecraft instance

heres the link to zid's tutorials zid's tutorials - not just modloader

Buildcraft should be i don't think it uses any minecraft classes, and Industrialcraft can be if you leave out the fd.class from the helmets.

Scuba & Fireproof Suit recipes changed.
Scuba Suit fixed issue with not being able to go up in certain conditions while wearing scuba pants and flippers.
Fireproof Suit textures changed.
