Boat Fixes
More Sheep Colors
Bow-Sword
and HD character texture mod on my other thread
Hey, I really like your mods, but the Boat Fixes mod isn't working. I put the "fx.class" file into my minecraft.jar, and I could open up minecraft just fine. But when I tried to put a boat in the water, my screen switched to the "saving chunks" view, and then went black and froze. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, or if it was something I did, but my META-INF folder has been deleted and I'm usually not to bad at adding mods. Help please?
I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for my favorite ones. Then again, I've gotten so many cocoa beans and apples from trees now, it's not even funny. I had to do some demolition to open up the area around my base, so that's where I got so many cocoa beans and apples (Well, more like 13 or so apples.). I had to cut down some trees to isolate the huge fraken-trees (which were reserved for the good 'ol Flint n Steel), so I found my cocoa go up past 64, thanks to that mod. I'm also waiting for for the Multi-Tool, Better Effort = Better Drops, Useful Hoe, and possibly the Spawn Torch. I'm not sure if I'm going to update to 1.6 after these mods, Vornika's, Optimine, or a combination of the three.
The modloader and MCP was updated quickly, so a good chunk of the mods I use are now either done or will be done soon, but these simple mods are some of my favorites and I have a multi-tool. I'd say Better Effort/ Drops one and Useful Hoe are my favorites for this set of mods. The Cocoa beans and apples one's pretty cool at times, though it's been getting annoying as of late. I've since had to reserve a large chest for nothing but cookies, since you can't stack more than 8.
Edit: Speaking of which, I wonder if 1.6 with screw up my Sky Fortress now.
Thanks a lot! I'll make sure those mods are on of the first in line to get updated here after I grab some Mountain Dew from the store. I'll also throw in some practical methods to solving your overflow problem.

Here after I go to the store and grab some Mountain Dew I'm gonna reupdate to 1.6.5. I think I know why it's doing that, I was playing around with some tests and must have included a defective version in the download link. I'll make sure to install the correct aspects in the next version to fix it to it's original functionality.

Thanks. At times, it seems like some of the trees drop cocoa about half as often as saplings or more. Now, throw in the fact my world (the demo version's world) likes spawning lovely franken-trees (thank god for the fly mod), I sometimes get a buttload of cocoa. I've gotten to the point if I want to get rid of one, I isolate it from the other trees first, then use the good 'ol flint and steel to burn it down, as I mentioned before. There's a been a few.. instances, where I started a forest fire or two anyways, despite my best efforts to avoid it.
Truthfully, the apples don't actually seem that bad. I don't know why I mentioned them. I can eat them right of the bat to, unlike cocoa, which apparently makes 8 cookies. I kind of wish the way I thought you had to make them was right. (two cocoa and a wheat or two cocoa, three wheat, and sugar, which I also have whole lot of now, along with books). If only cocoa could have more uses, other than dye, which I seldom need as I keep finding brown sheep, which are seemingly more common than gray or light gray sheep in my world.
I wonder if anybody's came up with a chocolate cake mod, that uses two cocoa instead of two buckets of milk.

I don't think I'm even going to bother updating until after 1.6.6, but then again, I don't have a bunch of fans using my mods. Actually, I don't have any mods. Mod makers like you are awesome. Thankfully, it seems 1.7 will be awhile, hopefully until the end of June or even into July. This is my first update cycle, so I'm learning about it.
"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
On the 4th-14th I'll have nothing to do but sit at home so I'm going to not only be updating these mods (which I can start tomorrow or tonight hopefully) but implement a lot of the features I've had listed on my mods list.
I also apparently have to beat this chick to female SMP support on my other mod so gotta quickly put that together.
Oh and apparently got some Boats AND Minecart Fixes updates/mods to make to fix 1.6's crap!
I was wondering what happened to 1.6.5 update. I guess either something came up or you took my not necessarily intended advice. (As in I wasn't intending to tell you to wait, but felt it would of been best to do, since 1.6.6 was coming so soon.) I kind of figured the guy's with deeper mods like Mo Creatures and Creeps and Weirdos would wait though. Seesh, one update after another. Hopefully, with 1.7, awhile means a month or more. (early July sounds nice)

Could you update at least the 1.5_01 mods to 1.6.4? (I would prefer if you updated all the mods to 1.6.6, though) No rush.
Yeah sorry, been real busy but starting tomorrow I'll have two weeks by myself and I intend to spend a lot of time on my mods. Should see some 1.6.6s tomorrow but testing them is harder because the last time I had 10minutes to spare I had some problems with TooManyItems.
I started updating mods to 1.6.6 (2 done now) and first had problems with modloader not recompiling correctly. Fixed that, kept going but when I went ingame to test and make sure the changes I had to make for the newer obfuscation still worked, TooManyItems kept closing any Inventory screen the second I opened it. Time was up, and I was pretty frustrated so I never got around to seeing if it was a real problem with TMI or just how to fix it so I can easily test mod functions.
Sorry about the wait, I've had a hectic schedule lately and less time to code then I originally anticipated. I should be able to finish updating these mods to 1.6.6 before tomorrow's end and then move on to the new features I wanted to add.
BoatFixes just crashed my client when placing boat.
Is this because it's for 1.6.4?
Yeah it could be. I have a lot of mods I had to add to the list to fix a lot of complete ******** that they've removed in minecraft. I'm hoping my first is going to be fixing the minecart boosters to work again, but I also have to relook at the boat to check for more crap to fix. I saw a lot of problems with it myself (the new boat) so might have stuff to add to that.

Hurray. ^^ You're awesome.

You can find my MMC Profile here but in addition to only hosting some of my mods there, a lot haven't been updated to 1.6.6 yet.
Hey, I know you said the thread is 'temporarily' down, but I was wondering how long 'temporarily' was going to be? Out of curiosity. Because there are many of your mods that I want very badly, and currently cannot get. This makes me very sad, as I'm sure you can imagine. XD

Yeah sorry about that.
Long story short, a few weeks ago me and some friends went on vacation and my friend's car was stolen which had my wallet and cell phone in there. Ended up staying down there an extra 10 days till the cops found the car so I can get my wallet and phone back (more so the wallet) and then had to catch-up on work right when I got back.
I tried getting on the forums the other day but it was down everytime I checked, but now it seems to be up so I can get back to my minecraft stuff.
Going to update the thread format today like the OP says then post the 1.6.6 mods I already have done and start updating the other ones as soon as possible. It sucks because I really wanted to add features and make other mods but now I'm stuck playing catch-up as well as getting reestablished with any changes to the MC community that I should know about. I'm gonna have to just update the 1.6.5s to 1.6.6 instead of that and adding features I wanted to do and worry about those later on next week or so.
Sorry about that though, should be back to normal by Friday the latest.
Oh, the 1.7.3 really didn't help in terms of the catch-up game...
Just a little tid-bit, Beta 1.8 won't be out until late August/early September from one of Notch's recent tweets. That means another 1 1/2 months at the earliest...
Boy, I really hope 1.8 is worth this huge wait.
edit: 1.8 came out September 14. It was kind of worth it, but I think it's safe to assume this mod collection is dead forever. :sad.gif:

Try again when it's updated to 1.6.6 and if not, paste the mod page here and I'll check for conflicts and making compatibilities.

UPGRADE
It seems we're so close to 1.9 now. I wonder if it would be worth updating for 1.8.1.
No, the next actual release will be the full release, with pre-releases coming until then.
