I installed it fine- following the instructions in the description
(all '.class' files and 'train_textures' into .jar, and 'resource files' and 'trainconfig.txt'), deleted meta.inf- but when I start minecraft and try and craft the first recipe (4 coal to make coal dust)- nothing happens!
I cant report this as a bug because it hasnt started working at all!

Firstly, I'd like to say this mod is brilliant. :smile.gif: I love the trains... well I will when I can use them. :wink.gif: I haven't gathered enough stuff yet to do everything.
I would like to make note of a couple issues, just in case people have trouble and decide to read the thread, they'll know they're not alone.
1) When I loaded the trains mod in, it messed up my old map. I don't know how or why, and I'm certain it was more my fault than the mod's, but there you have it. What happened was, all Iron and Gold ores in the map still unmined warped into rails and light signals... so weird, but I swear it happened. I could not find any iron or gold, only tracks and lights... Iron ores seemed to be freight detector rails and gold was locomotive detector rails. Not sure how the signals fit in there, but they were found with the freight detector rails(iron ore).
I just started a fresh map and things were fine, so it was a corrupt map and not Minecraft/mod. Things are fine now and I have no trouble starting new maps. :tongue.gif:
2) When using the Rail Maker thing that lays rails for you... (Which is the only thing I was able to build so far) I had a little trouble making it go... I started on flat land and it started to go, then suddenly stopped laying tracks and just skidded across the ground for a while doing nothing, then stopped... Once I put it up against the face of a mountain, however, it steamed itself right through that entire mountain without a hitch! So I'm thinking maybe an issue with flat ground.
Now if I can just figure out how to make the silly thing turn! I don't want a straight rail across the world, lol.
Also, minor annoyance - It lays Glowstone under the the planks which are under the tracks... so it's like pointless waste of glowstone... That just annoys me on a personal level, not a big deal. I am going to fiddle with the train config file in a few and probably find a fix for that in 0.6 seconds. :smile.gif: I'm thinking underblock1 or something. I did peek in there once before. Just want people to be aware of it.
Okay, so that's about it. Other than these two things, I've had no troubles thus far and I really love the mod. Thank you so much for your time and effort and this terrific mod. :smile.gif:
Then open your minecraft.jar and add all modloader's files into your minecraft.jar
Optional: Add AudioMod
ModloaderMP is no longer needed for v1.24
If you want to use older version then you need ModloaderMP...
Repeat the operation with the Train_mod you just downloaded (unzip and add everything that's inside the folder to your minecraft.jar EXCEPT the TrainConfig.txt and the "ressources files" folder)
Delete The META-INF folder!!!
Close your minecraft.jar.
Optional: the content of the "resource files" goes into the resources/mod folder

Wait a second... the thread name starts with [1.0.0] but where is the 1.0.0 download link?
So you only need ModLoader now and not ModLoaderMP anymore? That's awesome!

Its the Train mod v1.24 from the Main Side.
He forget to change
"Client for 1.8.1 (only works in SSP)"
To
"Client for 1.0.0 (only works in SSP)"
So, this mod is awesome and one of my favorites. I just got the upgrade, and I can't craft Zeppelins. I can craft the engine, the balloons, and the propellers, but when I put in the recipe in the OP I don't get anything. I don't know what's going on!
look at previous page.
PixelPond - Wicked Fast Servers in OCE
Did you even look at the past few pages.
