Hello,
I'm not sure if this has been a problem that anyone else has had, and I don't know what's wrong, i've been using this mod for a really long time.
I've tried fresh Re-update of Minecraft.jar, and as well as .minecraft folder.
About 4-5 minutes after using any of the trains, if i go into the Block menu in creative mode, it crashes and gives me this error:
2 mods loaded
Optifine OptiFine_1.2.5_HD_C3
Minecraft Forge 3.3.8.156

Forge Mod Loader version 2.2.78.153 for Minecraft 1.2.5

Some of the Mod names might look weird, i have an Index system of mods, and that's how i keep track. Anyways, i know optifine isn't the problem, because i've turned it off, and redownloaded the .minecraft folder.
Could it be a MCforge problem? I've searched around and done my fair share of research, and i'm out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@jwp896: i do not know of anyone else with that issue. it is not a normal thing for the mod.
@argly902: try using the flat carts. most of the carts were (and i think still are) designed to not allow normal mobs in them. if you want to transport animals though, try using the stock cart. the stock cart is made for the sole purpose of transporting animals.
@deadalus1312: the error is in a class that is not modified by any of your mods listed... that is very bizarre...
i also noticed that the name of the zip you have (TrainModUPDATED.zip) does NOT match the naming system used, did you change the name by any chance? if you didn't, then i think you need to download the mod again
found a bug
--the work caboose seems to not collide with other carts, but it does collide with the actual locomotive/engine and the player. (tested [VL10]->[jukebox]->[stone looking liquid cart]->[grey liquid cart]->[yellow liquid cart]->[red box freight cart]->[work caboose])
and got a suggestion.
--a detector track for liquid carts
and a side question for the dev,
do you use the minecraft coder pack?

It's the mod, I just renamed the Zip, so i know what it is. I have re downloaded it, in fact i've re downloaded it multiple times. It always happens about 4 - 5 minutes after using any of the trains, and then pressing 'E' and scrolling down. As I scroll down, it stops and gives me that. It's very puzzling, because I've used this mod before this version without any errors.
I've also downloaded multiple versions of Forge, and I've even tried putting mod-loader in (Re downloading .minecraft after every attempt)

infinus5! you are one of them scientists who discover unbelievable things but people hate him/her because they think he/she uses dark magic, witchcraft, etc. you better mine cart idea is still not my favorite, however the puller cart idea is genius, and here's why:
two days or so ago, i decided to make a legit map(i usually am always in creative or cheating with TMI). a little way in i decided that i'd need a mine, so i thought about what would be good for getting up and down. water, ladders, and other crap. then i opened craft guide(chandler thanks for opening this door into the future for me) to look for nice locos. then it hit me... THERE ARE NONE!!! none of the locos, make any sense as an underground-mining-train-locomotive! they just don't look right. eventually i gave up thinking about it and made a heavy steam loco and heavy tender, still a minecraft puller(specifically textured to look dirty and mine cart matching)would be great! i would texture it myself if i could(i'm getting tired of typing about how horrible of an artist i am), but i can't.
on a side note, when is the new heavy steam loco texture coming out?
on another side note, think that the mine cart puller's speed should be less affected by hills, so that getting to the surface will be easier(my house is a cave in the side of a hill, two blocks above sea level).
EDIT: i don't know if this is already in place, but does anyone think that for ALL trains, the number of cars being pulled, should determine the amount of speed loss when going up inclines? cause i do....

wait a minute, are we thinking on the same level here? my idea was to have some form of small heavy hauling underground engine (electric btw as gas fumes would be bad underground) that would be similar to this guy down here
if this was the idea you liked than finally someone agreed
i just liked the idea of a proper looking mine train with tub ore carts and this little guy hauling them along.
now for what colour? perhaps yellow ?

i'm not the best with colors but yellow seems fitting to me. the only problem with yellow though is will it match the gray of the minecarts? or are we changing that too?

hmm i was talking with the modeler of this mod and hes looking into possibly making this sort of cart (or that was the impression i got)
its larger than a vanilla ore cart but smaller than an open fright car.
would this be ok for a better ore cart or should we stick to the old regular cart, but it has a GUI instead of a chest, as i think those carts look rather ugly >.<
btw this should also be yellow (mines use yellow as it stands out best in a dark underground environment.
one step closer to achieving this pic in minecraft
there is one MAJOR PROBLEM with this mod the crafting for iron pickaxe, shovel, axe are taken up by different types of rails so you cannot get any of them even in creative or using too many items and also the apple has gone and flint and steel has turned into a signal
Sounds like an ID conflict. Need error logs to know anything.

as i said yellow should be great, especially for a mine train. however is it just me, or is the first cart, the type whose bucket tips over to dump it's contents. cause i don't like that idea, however it has been proven within this mod, that a retexture can change everything(check out hellraiser's new small steam loco texture, it's been implemented to the mod! :D).
I noticed that ChandlerBingUA is doing a whole new set of cars. They look fantastic. However, I don't think they might be in scale with the Small Steam Locomotive many of us use.
So I decided to put together a new freight car that would be roughly in scale with the Small Steam Locomotive and passenger car I retextured.
The problem is, I have no ability to recompile. So I decided to instead zip the whole project up and post it here in hopes that one of the Mod developers can compile it.
The next problem is, since I have no ability to test it in-game, I would have to get the compiled version, test it in game, edit any changes and then submit it again (to be recompiled).
I did my best to prevent this, but you never know.
Again, this archive is intended for Train mod authors only, not intended for the general public (but if you know what you're doing and can compile it for me, go for it!)
If this works out, then I'll also do an open freight car, a caboose, and a work cart also in-scale and in the proper theme with the other cars I retextured.

the new ore cart is a "tub" cart. there used in underground mining as there really fast to unload as a man or machine can quickly turn the carts tub on its side and dump the ore.
most ore cars are like this as miners are (1) really lazy (i should know as i am one) and (2) miners want the maximum amount of efficiency to cut costs.
i ve found other carts that look abit different, but most if not all dump ores. we don t need it to "dump" its ores all at once like in irl.
what if we could make it look as though it tips on its side when we open its GUI ? or is that not even possible ?
the reason i like the idea of a quick dumping cart was so i could quickly get ores out of my mine for processing.

Sounds cool, but personally, I don't care how they look, as much as if they work correctly. Once they work, then whatever they want to do cosmetically is all good and just icing.
I do minecart and engine for it. We are working to train more wanted to one style. Your work is once again break our will. I'm sorry.

Do not be surprised - my English is Google translate. I never play Minecraft without these mods:
ExtraBiomesXl, Industrial Craft, Build Craft, LCTrees++, Metallurgy, Railcraft, Smart Moving, Forestry, Jammy Furniture Mod, Kaevator Super Slopes, Xtra Blocks, ReiMinimap, CraftGuide.
Awesome mod, it makes me happy.
Got several in-game bugs.
- When I enter the train being in creative mode, and then leave it, i somehow get into survival mode: I get mob attention and all the damage exept one from falling. A hunger also appears, but the healt and hunger bar are not shown.
The creative returns when I respawn or take a nap in a bed.
- There's no any sounds in SMP and no steam engine whistle sound in SSP.
What is going on and how can that be fixed?
I'm not sure if this has been a problem that anyone else has had, and I don't know what's wrong, i've been using this mod for a really long time.
