I goofed big time. After downloading his update and trying to install the sound file to see if it would work i got no sound. I had to completly delete my .minecraft and force update. Once logged in with an all new unmoded minecraft i took some fall damage and.... I had no sound. No ooof or nothing. I dono what i did or what his mod did but it completely screwed the directory.
Update: Update: Found out it was Single Player Commands causing the issue. apparently it is now a known issue. Sorry for confusion.
ZOMG I GOT IT WORKING :happy.gif: FEMALE SOUNDS!!! Using the link to the sound mod enabler i was able to use the hurt.ogg file and get it working!!! YAY!!! Now all i have to do is wait for MCP to update so you can update yours and then i can look and sound like a girl :happy.gif:

Oh noes. Yah i cant stand clean mode. I haz to have my texture pack and my gaz skin. I go nuts with out it. I even have my Painterly pack set to where it wont show the armor on my character. I mean whats the point in having a custom skin if your gona cover it with ugly armor? lol.

I like the idea of a female mesh, not for my personal use of course. I just like variation. And if you could figure out a way to have it so that people can select their gender and they could see the other gender in multiplayer, i would make everyone on my server download this mod. Cause it just seems like it could help in an RP environment.

I hope a version compatible with 1.5_01 is coming out soon. My skin is already female but this thing would make it perfect.
Also, you might want to send Notch this via Twitter, if you want to talk about it with him. There, he usually reacts to suggestions and who knows? Maybe in 1.6, we get the option to choose gender by MC itself...
Edit: Never mind, saw you already did that four days ago. Maybe ask jeb_ instead? He might talk with Notch about it.
Also, I think this girl needs a name for the default version - similar how the male version is normally named "Steve" in default case. What would you say about Janine? ^^

Those looking for a name, Steve was named Steve for a reason. Kodaichi named Charlotte for a very good reason (Char.png, get it? It's a pun.)
But it's kind of annoying that there aren't any "Generic Female Names" about. Not as easy as male names, anyway. Bob, Steve, John, Average Joe... see? All male.
