How to Install:
[center] You Must Install ModLoader Beforehand.
1. Make a backup of your minecraft.jar file
2. Open your minecraft.jar file using winrar or a similiar archive tool.
3. copy all the files and folders from "\minecraft\" to the root of the minecraft.jar file
4. Delete the META-INF folder of minecraft.jar
5. Close and save your minecraft.jar
6. locate the .minecraft\resources\ (where you have installed minecraft)
7. look inside the "\resources\", copy all its contents to the folder .minecraft\resources\ (make sure you are not adding this to the minecraft.jar file).
8. Play

Here's another mod that adds tools, jade to be specific. Each tool is green and is a little stronger than iron tools and weaker than diamond.
Each of the recipes are the standard tool/armor recipes. I already have artwork for a jade block(looks pretty cool because it's green) and will add it later.
Okay, so this is a simple but useful mod. What Animal Bones does is that it makes it so that whenever you attack a monster that's not a sheep(had problems with it), slime, or spider it gives you bones. I'm not sure about the exact percentage of it happening but it's pretty high.

This is a mod(duh...). It's not those alphabet blocks that five year olds play with, it's the ones we play with!
It adds the use of A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and nine. It's very, very useful when signs aren't enough. And they're colorful!

Sure, I'll try doing nether tools. What tool material do you suggest, netherrack, glowstone, or even a completely new ore, etc? Also, I've already finished the brick tools mod, just I'm not releasing it because I cant decide how good/bad it should be, whats your opinion on it?

ive just got one problem with this mod, and this is the actual reality of this. lapis lazuli is actually a gemstone, and i really dont think it is strong enough, or even 'solid' enough to do anything in reality. but hey, this is minecraft, you can kill cows with feathers!

I think, this mod is a great idea, but I find it maybe a bit too overpowerde if Lapis Tools are better than diamond =P
Because first, they arent that strong in RL, they are mainly used for jewelry and are notreally hard, I think, so you should maybe try and mix two materials, like Iron and Lapis, to make them stronger =)
I made them a bit stronger then diamond because, in my opinion, lapis lazuli is rare ingame. Also, many times I have came over a deposite of lapis lazuli and wished, "Omg, this is almost worthless, yet its rare, I really with this was diamond."
I could make a lapis lazuli/iron bar if anyone wants to do the artwork for that.
I love the tools and armor the colors(even though they are just recolors:P) What you should do is try and make custom tools and weapons so they look more unique. The armor is too dark though compared to the bars and tools make it a bit lighter. Also if you plan on making any new sets like from the nether make a unique ore that you add to to make your unique tools. Try and stand out from all the other mods that just add another set of useless tools to minecraft. but i got a idea for your upcoming mod i know nothing about it but you could add like craftable cookies! something like:
that would create cookie dough
mushroom = cacao bean aka brown dye
iron = milk bucket
and if you cooked the dough in the furnace it would become a cookie!
as i said before i don't know anything about what mod your going to make so this maybe doesn't fit in at all, this is just a mod that i wanna make myself but can't
