Lol... I don't think any of nandonalts mods are compatible with this... :sad.gif: I want the scuba diving mod, and the more trees mod he made.
Hey, Djoslin? Is it possible to be able to use your character to push around the water, or jump into it and make splashes/ripples, or anything like that? Is it possible with the current minecraft/java system? Thanks!
Its your Autoforest.getDarkerNights. i think ive seen this before. talk with the mod maker.
edit: that was plastic craft. it has an error with this autoforest.getdarkernights too.
I forgot i posted in here thank you i already found out what was wrong. There is a patch you must install after you install NatureOvrehaul that takes out those options because he stopped working on them to make it easier for himself.
So random question that I couldn't find from a search of the forum...
What's the process to go about actually getting an ocean block like in the tsunami vid, basically if we wanted to recreate that.
InvEdit or TooManyItems, I'd guess.
theres a formula I'm not sure of the entire method but its either 3 redstone and 1 gold dropped in a block of finite water, or vice-versa. The easiest way is find a cave close to the ocean and break a block that connects the ocean and cave.
just curious, but do you have an expected arrival time for version 3? estimated of course. like a week from now, in 2 months... just curious how far off you believe the update will be.
I'm eagerly looking forward to some things you mentioned in the update. in particular, the update to water turning finite when seperated from the ocean. as far as I can tell right now, it never does currently. maybe in small 4 block holes maybe, but anything bigger gets at least one ocean block still in there. I currently want to build a little underground city, or at least place walkways of glass at the ocean floor. but impossible to un-flood them currently.
Good mod but incompatible with lots of mods like mobs that spawn in the default water.(they would no longer spawn due to default water being replaced with finite water). Also recipes that require the bucket of default water would be hard to get as the bucket of default water is hard to get. To fix these issues you should instead of adding a new block of water just completely change the default water.
not all mods like that. I use Mo' Creatures, which has sharks, dolphins, and pirannahs, and all 3 spawn just fine. just only in oceans, not lakes.
Okay I've installed ModLoader, PropertyReader, and this. I also have TooManyItems isntalled, I can choose the pump and pipes from the TooManyItems menu and place the pump in the ocean, lay pipe into a hole. When I turn the pump on nothing happens...Any help?
Amazing mod.
I started a new world and had to pump water from my cave several times-which leads me to something.
I don't know if you read requests, but what if when it rained, it made the ocean's water level raise by 2 or 3 blocks gradually and filled small holes. Both could be temporary (the water level rises until about 5 minutes after the storm is over, then it lowers), and it would make it more finite.
Also, that reminds me of something else-a bug I think- when I pump water from a lake, some water gets stranded 2 or 3 blocks from the pipe, and I have to build more pipe to make it pump that water.
Again, great mod and i will be watching this and your other mods for future updates.

It is the opposite way. The pipe goes in the source lake/ocean and the pump in the hole to be filled.
ITS NOT WORKING!!!
i installed the mod, deleted meta-inf
installed propertyreader and modloader, and it still isnt working!
no crashes or anything, it just doesnt work
no other mods, i just reinstalled .minecraft and did this
any ideas?
I don't know if its a glitch or how it should be. But when I want to flood a cave by digging a path from the ocean to the cave, the water starts multiplying like in classic. Its a real shame, the whole cave got filled in seconds.
Also when I go down that cave it randomly refills my oxygen, and I can see like i am out of water. When I am still in the water.

I second this. The ocean water should be like normal water.
World fix a lot of bugs in this mod.
no it will make lag, lots of it.
Watch this video , like at 6:20 the water smoothly goes (not for me, it multiply's). And about the oxygen around 6:30 you will get what I am talking about.
what needs to happen to turn water from ocean to finite, until v3 comes out?
I'm trying to build an underwater city, but despite sealing off places from the main ocean, it never turns finite.
currently the only thing I can do is to completely fill the inside with blocks, then remove them. this has to be EVERY block too, since any remaining ocean blocks I miss just refill the area again.
