Hey I love this mod! But I have two questions, does this confict with other water based mods? Also, if possible, can you make the pipes and pumps part of the mod a separate one with vanilla water? Thanks!

I don't think it would work with vanilla water.
But I could be wrong?
Well the reason I asked is because I tried to also install Wild grass, but it seems to conflict, so I was wondering if it conflicts with others, and if it does, can a pump and pipes be made for vanilla water?
BTW, where is Djoslin?

I am slowly being driven to the limit of my sanity, I kid you not, For the past hour. I have been trying to get this infernal pipe system to work, I have tried everything. But the water does not get sucked into the pipe. I have been reading the mod reviews trying to understand. BUT ITS NOT WORKING, dear christ someone help me before i go insane.
This mod is very cool, but I would rather wait for this mod to get some more bug fixes before it becomes a permanent residence in my .jar. I am having trouble un-installing the mod though. When I un-install the mod (by removing every file that the mod adds to the jar, is there an easier way to un-install mods?) it just black screens upon start up. I really don't want to have to delete my .jar because I have quite a bit of mods installed. Any help?
What would be even better is if I could prevent the mod from generating the world with the finite liquids, as I like to play with the liquids using inventory editors.
Edit: A couple suggestions:
I noticed when you put the finite water on flat ground it spreads until it is extremely thin. Perhaps make it to where if this happens on farm land it sinks into the farmland and turns it into hydrated farmland?
Also, when the water is very thin like that your movement is slowed down as if you were walking through water that was one whole block deep. I suggest making your speed normal but have there be splashing sounds when walking through the thin water.

Nope Sorry dude
There actually is MCEdit, I haven't used it at all, but I've heard it works "well"

These guys make awesome art for Mods (Items, New Blocks and Mobs)
I will be using them soon
I'm Starting to be known as a Balancer, A.K.A. I'm starting to become pessimist
Great mod i already built my self a huge factory and well i went to the nether and ummm kinda filled it with the ocean using 2 blocks of infinite water basically ocean blocks xD
epic but you need to seriously change the recipe for original minecraft water. Its silly to spend a rare block of gold for one block of water. I suggest you make it some kind of recipe for the 3x3 grid

I think you should implement a squeegee to the game so you can clean up some of the water. i have a problem with leaveing the pumps on while playing around with the pipes and flood out my world.
This really is an excellent mod, but I want to do some experiments with normal Minecraft water, so I was wondering if you (or someone else) could create a tool that replaces all of the modded water with normal water (and vice-versa for when I want to reload the mod) so that Minecraft doesn't crash.
I really love this mod. I haven't done much with with it beyond just getting it to work with other mods I have installed but hopefully I will get time to do more thorough play testing when I go on vacation.
I currently am running, (Installed in Order Listed.)
Modloader
Audiomod
Single Player Commands
GuiApi
PropertyReader
ToolUtils
Mo Creatures
Finite Liquids
CoralReef
Scubadiving
MoreTrees
Buildcraft
Millenaire
MineColony
(I hope to add some ore mods and farm mods to this soon as well.)
I can confirm that Finiteliquid is working fine (so far) with every mod listed with two exceptions.
I am guessing that Finiteliquid changes the water block and it appears Millenaire doesn't recognize the new water block. This results in villages being created in and under water. Additionally Coral Reefs doesn't recognize the new water so no reefs are generated (Though I can manually place Coral.)
Not sure if there is anything you can or should do as it seems to be just the way finite liquids handles water. I just wanted to let you know that the issue exists when using the those mods together.

You do know that with only 2 blocks of original water, you can create an infinite spring, right?
So, 2 ingots of gold for all the infinite water in the world... Doesn't sound so expensive to me.
Also where the hell is Djoslin? I'm still waiting for him to fix ocean water filling downward before I use this mod, and I'm getting impatient
This mod looks awesome, I'll have to try it when I get home from school. But there is one thing you should fix before you are 'finished' with this mod. For starters, let's say you open a infinite supply of water into an underground cave. Now, the water in your current version acts like minecraft creative water which is highly unrealistic. You should instead make the water flow to the bottom of the cave, then begin filling up from there. Now THAT would make your water mod realistic. And I would love you :smile.gif:

ok i dont know if im doing this wrong or its a glitch but... is there like a distance limit on running pipes to transport water? cause im running some pipes to a huge cave i wanna use to flood and move water from one area but its just not draining or filling....
So, what practical uses does this mod allow for that the vanilla game doesn't? I like the idea of limited water, and Dwarf Fortress-like flooding, I need to know if this has multiple uses like the piston mod.
Nope Sorry dude

Outside of those 2 annoyances it works great.
Kudos for the awesome work you are doing.

Other than that, A++ on the mod!
