Will Lava ever be thicker than it currently is? I've yet to see a vat of it larger than paper thin. I even cheat and make a stack of it and pour it into areas, and it never grows in mass.
I have this mod installed and working, but I am having some problems with it and I was wondering if anybody here had some insight.

I got TooManyItems so I could just get a ton of pipes and pumps and TNT and what have you to go about a massive public works project on a new map. I made a dam, and behind it I TNT'ed a path back to the ocean, and let the ocean flow into this inlet up to back of the dam, where water was pumped into the holding tank and then back out the front.
When I started this, I made a few small-scale projects just to make sure I understood how the pumps and redwire circuits worked (first time really using redwire.) I noticed that occasionally blocks near a pump end of a pipe would dissapear or get knocked off...had an incident where the glass ceiling of my home broke and the ambient lighting lava on top cascaded through the wood floors...but I figured that the blocks dissapearing was just related to the force of the water or lava coming out or what have you, and didn't worry.
After that, I would notice there would randomly be bits of lava on the ground, tiny thin slices, and sometimes floating in the air. They would appear out of nowhere, as during this project I really didn't travel out of sight of the dam, and one day they'd just appear.
Then, there would be more and more bits of lava.
Then, and this happened especially after my TNT river creation and installing of the pumps into the dam, there started to appear dirt and rock blocks in mid air everywhere, and water pumping itself out of the ground in random spots. Not flooding the area, or anything, but having the animation as if it were being pumped and making puddles everywhere.
Basically, the world seems to be fracturing and coming apart, and the apocolypse/end of the Matrix is forthcoming.
Is this a problem with the mod that anyone is aware of, and is it something I can fix? If not for the current map I'm working on (I gave up from all the random blocks and TNT'ed the dam anyways) but for the next map I start?
One idea for hydraulics would be' first, not having it destroy pistons, and then, (if it could be done on your side) have pistons push the water. if the water is below max height, it would be compacted when pushed, but if it was at full height, then it would also push other blocks. Any ways, AWESOME MOD!

Thats going to be fixed in the update. it also will break down your doors. and plexiglass from plasticcraft.

to fix the waterfall issue, try making rain place a large number of low-depth water blocks. the water would then collect in depressions as it flows downhill (just like real water) resulting in lakes that can feed rivers/waterfalls and not run dry. Of course, this may mean that the waterfalls only work for a few days after a storm, but thats just how it is. On a seperate note, perhaps every once in a while a storm could be a downpour (perhaps thunderstorms would double as these) during a downpour, full/mostly full water blocks would spawn instead of the almost empty ones placed by regular rain, in addition to being placed far more frequently. These would pose a very large risk of flooding to a poorly placed/built house
im just eagerly awaiting the update, the amount of oceans in my world is simply staggering and the lag is totally killing my comp. but once the update with the lag fix is out then things will be better, and once i have a map with a good amount of resources, any seed suggestions for this?
I was thinking at high altitudes, snow would gather up, and then when the sun hits them, they melt and turn into Water, which would then flow downhill (Sorta like IRL)

My idea is: When you place a block in the water, it displaces the water like in real life. In your mod, atm, I can just drain a pond by placing a block and then removing it. I think it would be simple to implement into your mod. Great job btw!!! Can't wait till the next version comes out.
I don't think this has anything to do with this mod, but i usually get a HELPFUL response from people in this mod topic.
I'm not sure which mod did this but it worked fine until i updated this and plastic craft and Nature Overhaul (posted in those forum too) I get to the main menu fine but when i try to load or generate a world then it freezes and closes. I can't seem to find conflicting files so i wanted another look.

I blocked off a piece of the ocean from the rest, trailed the water to a cavern 12 times bigger than that bit of ocean, and let it rip down. It filled the cavern extremely quickly. This doesn't seem to be very finite to me. The level of the small ocean section didn't drop. At all... I like this mod still, but please, fix this.

Not sure if anyone posted this, but I noticed a bug. I was trying to make old lava (probably nothing to do with it though), and the water was running out, and I was confused, so I tried to take the water out. When I right clicked with the bucket, though, it destroyed the iron and the water stayed and went down into the fire underneath. Please fix this. This was in SinglePlayer.
Yea, it'd be awesome if the water was passively animated a bit as though it is shifting like when you increase the size of a pool.
Also (and I have no idea how hard this is) but could future version perhaps have animated water instead of the static stuff as it is now?
As awesome as this mod is, I don't think I'll use it till some more glitches are ironed out. Even so, this is by far the best finite water I've seen.

I got TooManyItems so I could just get a ton of pipes and pumps and TNT and what have you to go about a massive public works project on a new map. I made a dam, and behind it I TNT'ed a path back to the ocean, and let the ocean flow into this inlet up to back of the dam, where water was pumped into the holding tank and then back out the front.
When I started this, I made a few small-scale projects just to make sure I understood how the pumps and redwire circuits worked (first time really using redwire.) I noticed that occasionally blocks near a pump end of a pipe would dissapear or get knocked off...had an incident where the glass ceiling of my home broke and the ambient lighting lava on top cascaded through the wood floors...but I figured that the blocks dissapearing was just related to the force of the water or lava coming out or what have you, and didn't worry.
After that, I would notice there would randomly be bits of lava on the ground, tiny thin slices, and sometimes floating in the air. They would appear out of nowhere, as during this project I really didn't travel out of sight of the dam, and one day they'd just appear.
Then, there would be more and more bits of lava.
Then, and this happened especially after my TNT river creation and installing of the pumps into the dam, there started to appear dirt and rock blocks in mid air everywhere, and water pumping itself out of the ground in random spots. Not flooding the area, or anything, but having the animation as if it were being pumped and making puddles everywhere.
Basically, the world seems to be fracturing and coming apart, and the apocolypse/end of the Matrix is forthcoming.
Is this a problem with the mod that anyone is aware of, and is it something I can fix? If not for the current map I'm working on (I gave up from all the random blocks and TNT'ed the dam anyways) but for the next map I start?
Thats going to be fixed in the update. it also will break down your doors. and plexiglass from plasticcraft.

Pump is where the water comes out of pipe. Pump should be in air.
I was thinking at high altitudes, snow would gather up, and then when the sun hits them, they melt and turn into Water, which would then flow downhill (Sorta like IRL)

My idea is: When you place a block in the water, it displaces the water like in real life. In your mod, atm, I can just drain a pond by placing a block and then removing it. I think it would be simple to implement into your mod. Great job btw!!! Can't wait till the next version comes out.
I'm not sure which mod did this but it worked fine until i updated this and plastic craft and Nature Overhaul (posted in those forum too) I get to the main menu fine but when i try to load or generate a world then it freezes and closes. I can't seem to find conflicting files so i wanted another look.

Its your Autoforest.getDarkerNights. i think ive seen this before. talk with the mod maker.
