Thought you said you were going to update the name so that it could be compatible with industrial craft thats the only reason i wanted this mod, also nice INF oceans its sweet!
I found another annoying glitch. It seems like the top 1/3 on the ocean water blocks are air! O_o When ever I go into deep water, every time I pass the top 1/3 of a layer of water,my air is replenished, and I can see through the water just like it was air! This one isn't a real big deal either, but it is annoying and I would still like to see it fixed.
Epic mod btw. :happy.gif:

On the ocean floor. All appears normal.
Then this, taken right as I swam up:
Its as if the top 1/3 of ALL the ocean blocks just aren't there... Boats also sit much lower in the water...:
further leading me to believe there is some sort of glitch...

Sorry if this has been asked already, but after looking through 10 pages I didn't see anything about it. Does this mod have (or will it have in the future) SMP support? It would be completely epic.

I'd love to. The only problem is I haven't seen any good tutorials or any way to begin with SMP modding. If someone could give me a link to what I need that would be great.

I've thought of a watermill, I just haven't figured out a way to charge things that makes sense. Cave floods happen in real life!
Once pressurized water comes about pumps will improve. They'll also improve when I fix a few things with them.
Use it to power a special furnace? :3
I've got a few ideas. We'll see.

I love this mod. It's way up on the top of my favorites list as an essential. That said, I've noticed that my framerate drops through the dirt the moment I'm in proximity of any running pump. I made a self-replenishing fountain earlier today with 2 pumps and the game was barely playable with both running. Is this a known issue? To be fair, I'm playing on an older iMac Dual Core 2.4Ghz with 3GB of RAM, and I have all Minecraft's video/GL settings on max...
I'll be optimizing the way pumps work. Also if you're pumping from the ocean, it checks to see if it's supposed to be ocean every time. (Which is a laggy process). This bug has been fixed for the next version.

@djoslin
did you ever figure out what might be going on with my situation?
Nope, sorry I have no idea. I don't know all that much about fixing conflicts. I basically only use my mods, sorry.

My other problem is their was a hole in one of the holding tanks flooding a huge mine so might have been that too.
Yeah, that's a feature. Haha

Am I the only one having download errors here?
EDIT: It works if you click the download button then quickly click the 'click here to download directly' before you get the 404.
It works perfectly for me, even the automatic download...
Do it. Also, I fixed the problem with Opera not receiving the right url. Try it now
Edit--
And after a few hours of programming tracking down the bug that causes water loss, I think I've solved it. If you tried out v1, you would've noticed that the way water moved was a lot more glitchy. It would create gaps in the water when it was moving. I coded in a check to make it grab surrounding water if it was being set to 0. There was a bug there and in the change I made to a small part of the flow code. I've fixed those, but I'm not totally sure that the main bug is fixed.
For this mod to work in SMP, I think you would have to use client-side AND server-side, due to it adding completely new blocks/content. for smp modding in general, i suggest bukkit, which uses plugins: bukkit.org.
Waiiiit. Are you putting the zip file in .minecraft\mods\?
You have to unzip the mod and add the files directly into the minecraft.jar
That's the only thing I can think of.

Hmm, yeah I've looked through bukkit. But there's only a few tutorials and not very easy to jump into. I'll sit down and read later on and see if I can get it done.
ok try from scratch in this order.
1.modloader (latest Version) i sugest rdownloading it
2.run minecraft see if it black screens
3. if it didnt blackscreen then instal prop reader
4.repeat 2
5. if it didnt blackscreen then instal finite liquid
6. repeat 2
7. if it didnt blackscreen then instal toomanytems
now it shouldnt blackscreen.
my guess is something wrong with the modloader you have, try redownloading it.
instal for finit liquid
1. copy the imgz folder into your minecraft jar (bin folder)
2. copy ALL of the class files into minecraft jar (bin folder)
3. DO not run minecraft yet. go to roaming/.minecraft/mods/ and DELETE DJoslin folder (it will generate a new one)
my second guess is something wrong with your Djoslin folder block and id settings. so delete it before installing or how i told you above... if it still not working then you're doing something wrong.
Edit: if nothing works break your computer and then a) buy a new one :cool.gif: go dig a hole 30 cm by 30 cm by 50 cm and stick your head in it. joking.
to your question: NOTHING is wrong with your code you gave us... but still do the steps above (not the breaking part)
and finaly if ALL/EVERYTHING fails and you're about to do the Computer breaking try deleting the .minecraft folder(dont forget to back up your saves) but leave the exe. and when you run it tell it to force update.
a better way to flood than #the secret# is just to hack in an ocean block. When you put one on top of a hill, the world will flood. I did this, and it slowed my fps from 300+ to ~30 so....Also, it is a bit slow, resulting in a circular area of water speading in a big wave over your world. The plus side, is that you can ride a boat out and over the edge.
big time

Is there a way to have no oceans modded though? I would just like the old way of having random mod pools of water around to use.
