I seem to be having an issue using MC patcher to get HD textures. I used it to add BTW, buildcraft modules, BTB, linkovich's BTW add on, mystcraft, zombes, and TMI. none of this is an issue, as i run them all just fine, after dealing with id conflicts.
However, when i try to use a texture pack, minecraft crashes, giving this error report:

Was struggling to decide what machinery/industry mods to add to my game, theres so many. Some of the features in BTW sound awesome but Im not willing to sacrifice the forge dependent ones either. Ill go with buildcraft and powercraft instead I suppose.

It's the deco addon that's causing it, Kaos said he was going to try to fix it.
Alright, yeah. I'm not getting the same error, but with just BTW installed and my add-on it's got problems with texture packs for some reason. I'll try to have this fixed as soon as possible, but as I've mentioned, things are busy IRL right now so I won't be able to get around to it right away.
I have finally finished it!!! I had to learn a whole bunch about mechanics and redstone to get it to work. to forever. that was my goal now i am finished with this mod until it's updated. I have an idea, maybe you could add something that you had to kill the enderdragon or explore a whole bunch to find/get something to go into the next stage.
And if anyone knows what the mod is where you spawn, then you get a notice to start your quest. Then if you click begin quest, a castle spawns behind you that has a blacksmith where you can buy weapons/armour/other stuff and a king dude that when you level up or something or finish the mission, you become king and can go build your own city. and the last thing i remember is that mobs will drop gold like it does exp only it will fall dead and gold will spray out of its stomach.
If anyone knows what mod I'm talking about, please tell me.

That's a big maybe, and far from guarunteed. First, 1.3 needs to be released, and it needs to have actually made the necessary changes to the to the code on Mojang's side. IF that's the case, then parts of the mod may need to be refactored on FlowerChild's end to to reflect those changes. A long, icky, and grueling process.
Short answer is don't expect 1.3 to come out and suddenly have BTW SMP. It won't happen that way.
