Such is the fate of people dumped into a world where the smallest natural incline is a one meter vertical wall, populated by hordes of the ravening undead.
Luckily the morbidly obese and crippled can easily make little dirt access ramps to get to their food chest in BTW

wait what? in which change log did this happen, because last time i checked you needed a work bench to make any sort of ramps
you were ninja'd by the man himself, and I feel your pain, but I can't experience it due to my PC dieing, laptop not powerful enough to play minecraft, but enough to browse and post the forums

windoge 8 has the saddest excuse for a BSOD, it just tells you the type of error, no stop code, no nothing, just "something went wrong, all your unsaved work has now been lost to the void that is volatile memory"
Is it just me, or is Steve the only guy who feels the effects of low health?
I see this a lot hunting cows, normally they die in 2 hits- but if they survive the second I'm guessing their health is at a similar level to Steve's dying stage- yet they can still sprint and jump.
I have a problem. After taking a while to install BTW (I found out that it doesn't work with OptiFine), I finally got it installed and working. Mostly. I then found out it broke some of my vanilla items.
Nope. They all either provide functionality which already exists within the mod in another form, unbalance the mod, or are just so poorly designed that it brings down the overall level of quality to a degree I am not comfortable with.
Optifine isn't compatible with BTW. MCPatcher should be.
What features are you lacking without Optifine that MCPatcher doesn't already provide?
I do really like how optifine has a lot more graphics options, boosts FPS, and it really smooths gameplay (AKA LAG GONE). So if you could make it compatible that would be awesome, but I do realize that modders are busy and it is hard to make things compatible, I understand. So I think BTW is awesome enough to bear through the lag.

Perhaps Optifine should be responsible for maintaining compatibility with other mods and not the other way around?
BTW was compatible with optifine back in the day. But the optifine developers made changes that made it incompatible, not the other way around.
If anything, you should go and ask them to change their mod.

True that... I agree optifine should be compatible, I didnt really think that through at first- Optifine is more to blame. But I'll still just have to deal with it.
Wait a second... I just had vanilla minecraft, i added modloader, it worked. I added BTW. It worked with BTW blocks and everything. I MCPatched, (with only the patcher, not optifine) and my worlds work, but no BTW items or anything!?! I thought this was supposed to be MCPatcher compatible...
Hehe...I feel that any sentence that starts that way should end with "...and we had to walk to school through snow *this* deep."
respawn
gathering items, sssssssssssssss, dead
sigh why me
oh, did search like you suggested FC, didnt find anything outside of hemp seeds, even specified for wheat seeds and grass seeds, nothing

i know, right. talk about a pain in the backside

Edit: ignore that, i just remembered you instituted dirt slabs, something i have never used before

The cow isn't playing the game...
Items broken:
Trapped chest
Weighted Pressure Plates
Daylight Sensor
Hopper
Activator Rail
Dropper
They won't work, and all of their textures changed to all-pink with BTW on them.

How can I fix this?
Oh... is there a way to re-enable them?
Nope. They all either provide functionality which already exists within the mod in another form, unbalance the mod, or are just so poorly designed that it brings down the overall level of quality to a degree I am not comfortable with.
just throwing that out there.

Deal with it.
Did you add ModLoader and BTW with MCPatcher, or manually?
I added them manually. Why, does it work better if you add them with MCPatcher?
Deal with it.
MCPatcher doesn't like it if you add mods manually, then patch with the texture mods.
Best thing to do is use MCPatcher to do all of the .jar patching.
