The furnace will not bake bread in unloaded chunks, however the stewing pot will make concentrated hellfire, and the millstone will grind netherrack. This was all tested on an SMP server, by the way. Is this a feature? It is very convenient to have this happening while I'm gone, but I'm kind of worried about possible performance issues.
Lol, when I read through the entire first post about this mod, I thought it was going to be like 30mb. But just 1.9mb??? What's the catch XD
The catch? FC is quite talented from what I can tell and rather clever in how he codes stuff. There are often many ways to write code to get the same result, some harder than others. Mod authors have a wide variety of code background from one to the next and often the newer ones add stuff coded a few of the only ways they know how. Sometimes, the easier methods or more obvious solutions can take more code to accomplish than the clever solutions and thus larger file sizes.
I've been trying to fix this for a while now, even uninstalled all my other item mods. I've got a problem with the axles where it won't let me place an axle horizontally. the mods I have intalled are ModLoader, TMI, Rei's Minimap, Single Player Commands and the MCPatcher mods (Oh yeah, I'm doing it through MCPatcher for the HD packs. It keeps breaking if I Patch it then manually intall BTW).
It lets me place axles vertically. Not sure if a bug or my own idiocy.
Just In Case
Axles will not place horizontally in some circumstances
I'd try uninstalling SPC. This is the first I've heard about the axles issue, but it breaks some other stuff. Also, you really shouldn't do it through MCPatcher. There's a way to do that right, but it usually doesn't work. BTW is trivial to install in the .jar.
Can you turn the axle horizontal by clicking it with an empty hand?

May the Force be with you. Unless you're a troll, in which case, may the farce be with you.
Since Morv seems to be avoiding self-promotion at the moment, she and Florastar (along with Jadedcat and Slowpoke101) have started up a new BTW let's play series which can be found here:
Oh, WOW, cool.
Will definitely check that out at some point. But to be fair I only know of her from Direwolf20. Looking at the title I actually remember seeing that on her page. I think I found what I will be doing next weekend... if the internet here will cooperate.
They will probably be easier to understand than Battosay (No offense meant, it just takes more concentration to listen through the accent) and will be starting with a more resent version (Only on about ep. 10 of Battosay's, differences when you are trying to learn something tend to be a bit bothersome).
so i finally made some steel tools (to be specific, a mattock and a battle axe) and i went to my enchantment table, put the mattock in the slot and nothing came up on the right. no numbers and no alien text. i put in the battle axe and it was the same. i put in my diamond sword, and that worked fine....why is this happening?
Trouble uploading BTW? Use this video! Its Idiot proof!
I sure hope that was not directed at me... I am not even using MCPatcher...
If it was it would also seam to imply that you view me as an idiot. If anything I shown that I know what I am talking about, even if I am having a problem.
If that was directed at me but that was not your intent, next time please think more carefully about the conversation you are responding to as well as your choice of words.
I just had a crazy idea: hopper minecarts! I just checked that you can load chest minecarts with a hopper, which is cool, but there's no way to unload them, which might help with automating some stuff... haven't thought this through, though...
Hopper Carts are already on my todo list. They were announced awhile ago and have been planned for a long time now.

Also, making fabric a placeable (and dyeable) block would be cool, we've built a desert base and it's so hot we need some protection from the sun... like this:
Additional decorative blocks have to wait for Mojang to implement extended block IDs. There's already plenty of stuff like this I plan to do once that day arrives.
