can u add a crafting list to the download so u dont have to keep looking up on the site plzz.

Make sure you also included the btwmodtex folder in your minecraft.jar.

So, I have zero skill in coding. The last programming class I took was in my senior year of high school (wow, that was almost 10 years ago). How does MCP (Minecraft Coder Pack I assume) factor into everything here? I don't understand why "modders" have to wait for MCP to update. I've been to their wiki, but it isn't really for beginners and it seems like it is largely tutorials.

MCP is god when it comes to modding, the pack includes what modders need to decompile, recompile, reobfuscate, and deobfuscate all of minecrafts code.

So no MCP update = No one can touch minecrafts code, not easily anyway.

Water elevators are now viable again.

Just tested it.

Also glowstone now gives 4 dust and can be crafted using 4 dust win much?

W00t bonemeal now makes long grass grow with a chance of planting flowers.

EDIT: Reinstalled BTW just to see if it would work, no issues so far BTW is working fine for me.

Still testing.

Alright after going through all aspects of the mod only two issues, the waterwheel is now not peaceable and ropes no longer climbable.

Everything else checks out.

Yeah they work you just have to obey the new "rules" of water.

For instance you cannot have a block beside the vertical water stream, or the boat wont rise.

Well done. I'll put my super compact recipe sheet here too, as an additional option.

Edit: Does the code obfuscation remain the same for small updates like 1.6.5 & 1.6.6?
(Guess who's attempting to learn modding again. ^^)

Flower, I just had an idea, not sure how possible it is to implement.
A craft-able trough block (made from panels) that continues the state of water fist placed on it. Just an interesting mechanic I thought of.

Edit: The panels seem to not be wood or stone :blink.gif:
same time for each respective tool, and my ax lost its last red speck of health and broke while removing a pannel.

Quick Question:

Why do I feel like the only 15 year old programmer here? (of course, it is MINIMAL experience, but enough to program a robot to .... FIRST ROBOTICS, I'm to lazy to explain this years game)

Anyway: Automated mining SHOULD be a ways away. HOWEVER: Some form of chisel would be cool, instantly extract the ore, but still have to mine the stone thats left behind away. And then you can use that on the corners and such for stone :biggrin.gif:

In all seriousness, how many of you don't feel like playing minecraft without BTW?

Anyway, I am attempting to go back to 1.5.1 and get Industrial craft, BTW, and BuildCraft all to work together.... downside.. EVERY link I try to download Industrial craft... It isn't a download link!!

I give up on the compatability... unless someone makes an 'even MORE item Id's' mod, were toast for these three. industrialcraft has TOOOOO MANNNYYYY items in its ID list... most are incompatible, lest I drop the BTW mod down.

So for now, I'll keep them in seprate jars...

No, I just don't want people asking me for aesthetic modifications. Big difference

If something is easy to do for me, fills a real in-game need, and fits the rest of the functionality of the mod (as these guys most definitely do with the saw), then I really don't have any rules governing what I'm willing to put in.

The title is explaining that your mod is better than the 1.5 mod Notch implemented, because it actually added new items, while the current "updates" are merely bug fixes, though there are many still left untouched, and one or two things added, just to suffice the complainers on terms of new content. He should've added these things long ago, like your corner, molding, and what not, I LOVE those, So many times I wished to do the same with half steps, but upside down, and couldn't because of the way he has that items set up, it's very annoying. Great mod, love it.
