Thank you for the great mod, I've never could have been bothered to mod minecraft before, but you had me at the bloody mine track pressure plates! Something I've always wanted <3
This is great, I'm enjoying this deeply and I haven't used it yet LOL.
Good stuff man, and you're welcome!
If you're going to be using the minecart pressure plates though, I strongly recommend you wait for the next release (should be sometime tonight).
I'm changing them up for varieties of the detector rail, to make them more consistent with Mojang's own functionality (check out the video a few posts above this one) :smile.gif:
No problem man! I took a quick look, and I think I *may* know what the problem is. I'll change a few things about the way I assign Block IDs for the next version, and I suspect that might solve your issues.
Not 100% certain about that though, so once the next version is ready for download, please let me know if it solves things for you or not. Since this problem is probably specific to the particular mods you have installed, it's not something I can really test on my side.
This mod is quickly shaping up to earn the nickname of Minecraft++.
Agree. I especially like that the mod makes additions to the game without going too far off the style of Minecraft. It just seems to fit in, you know.
Anyway, guess who found himself a nice lava lake to complete his nether portal! :3
A whole squad of creepers was waiting for me at the surface to try and stop me, but I ultimately prevailed by using my super "Randomly-Running-While-Screaming-Like-A-Girl" technique. Truly it was an epic victory.
And with that, I can finally use my cauldron! Cooking time

i love all these features the name and examples bug me though cause i love wolves and it hurt me to see them killed ant tortured (even if it was in a game) they are awsome and i love them being added into the game(so do alot of people) i love all the stuff you had in this mod i would download it but the name bugs me to much
you have my support, wolves were neat, but by far the least desired thing.
guess he was just fulfilling a promise, old peter and his canines. *shakes head*
Loving the mod so far but I'm having an issue with the block dispenser. I can craft it and put blocks in it but when I use it all i see is a puff of smoke, then nothing, and the block that i had put inside disappears. Any idea as to why this could be happening? I'm already guessing that it's possibly one of the other mods I'm using, I'm more of just wondering what would that mod have to be doing to make this happen and if you don't I guess I'll just have to play which mod is messing this up game :sleep.gif:
Note: Nethercoal can only be crafted at the crafting table and I'm not sure if that's intentional. Being that it only uses 2 slots I would think it could be crafted on your own personal crafting grid such as torches.

You can craft it in your inventory, insert the components on the right side of the crafting section.
I have no idea why it doesn't work on the left. :|

Uh, yeah, i'm having some trouble with the redstone wiring for my hibachi-powered cauldron. I can get 6 of the blocks to light, like this:
where = unlit hibachi
but i can't seem to get the other 3 to light... My biggest problem is you can't put 2 redstone wires adjacent to each other and still get the hibachis to light. I could use netherrack, but i like the idea of flipping a switch and lighting the inferno too much.

Doh! I know why it doesn't work. My bad :smile.gif:
Will be fixed with the next release...actually, I already fixed it while writing this message :wink.gif:

A couple of hours should do it. I'm working on an extra-special-secret-project for this release that I don't want to give away until it is done :wink.gif:

If you check my video for the cauldron, you can see that it's very possible to power them next to each other.
First trick is to use redstone relays instead of two wires running next to each other (you can also see this in the detector rail video I posted earlier today).
2nd trick (which is what I used in the cauldron video), is that you can power them from below, like this (from the minecraft wiki):
You can just sit a hibachi on top of a redstone torch, and away you go.
Redstone wiring can be tricky, but is a lot of fun once you get used to it :smile.gif:

Well, when I first complained about the wolves on these forums, the typical response was "if you don't like them, don't tame them".
So, I'll respond to what you said above by saying "if you don't like killing and torturing them, then don't kill and torture them".
Problem solved :smile.gif:

Hmmmm...really not certain about this one man. The only guess I could make is that the block dispenser is a child-class of the regular dispenser. This basically means that it uses a lot of the same code, and if another mod modifies the dispenser base-class (or the regular dispenser), it could certainly mess-up the block-dispenser.
Sorry I can't do more than provide an educated guess to that one. There's just no way I can possibly test with all the different mods out there, but if I were you, I'd check out your other mods to see if any of them are messing around with the dispenser class.
All right guys, I've got something truly special for you tonight. I am ready to unveil my secret-project, and I do believe it may be the finest feature yet in this mod.

The greatest thing ever!! Hilarious! I am going to have fun with that.
Hey, did you do anything with ID's like you said. I'm the one using AutoID and things are a lil wacky for me.
Possible to get Creepers made into blocks? That would put it over the top!

Well i don't know anything about mods expect where to install them but i did find out which mod that was causing the problem (this mod viewtopic.php?f=1032&t=229041) It's weird because this mod is a weapons mod and just adds more weapons so I don't know why it would be effecting your mod. Anyways it doesn't matter I can just stop using that mod, I wasn't planing on using it anyways. Keep up the good work can't wait to see what more comes along.

It's the last item on my list before releasing this version (it's a small job).
Hopefully I can finish it off and get this out before I pass out :smile.gif:

Glad you found it man. I checked out the mod thread, and I have no idea what he could have done that would have caused this, but I'm happy you worked it out :smile.gif:
You might want to mention it to the mod-creator if you get a chance. It's very strange that it should run that kind of interference.

A question. Is it by design that the light blocks only pass a current to a light block below them? I figured that they would work just like the dispensers and be able to pass a current above, below, and to the sides 0.o
Dude...I've pretty much been laughing for the past 24 hours straight since I first though of that idea. I still can't stop, and am just happy I can finally share the punch-line with you guys :smile.gif:

Oi. Honestly, I'm a little sleepy to be answering that question.
The short-version is that the light-blocks are indirectly powered, which means they get powered if a current runs directly to them, or to a neighboring block (excluding diagonals).
That happens whether the neighboring block is another light-block or not, so not sure what you mean about light-blocks passing current to each other.
Anyways, let's discuss it in more detail tomorrow :wink.gif:

Lol okay well I'm posting this anyways you can think about it tomorrow then :tongue.gif:
Regular dispenser blocks when placed in a plus sign formation (that's 5 blocks, one in the middle, one placed above the middle, one placed below the middle block, and finally one block for the left and right side each) can all be powered if a current is applied to the middle block. Thus with only one wire 5 blocks can be activated. When I try this with the light blocks the middle and bottom block are the only blocks that receive power while the top and side light blocks are left unpowered. Hope that explains it better. Once I get off work I'll get some pics up that should explain the issue 100% more effectively.
