I'm glad I just finished making a bunch of turntables. I kinda wish I made more now.
I was wondering what you'd be doing to make gold more useful, and this will certainly do that.
I'm a little bummed about the removal of synthetic redstone, although I do understand why you removed it. My late-game mining only really currently consists of flattening land rather that acquiring resources. With the exception of lapis, that's always in high demand and short supply.

See...I kept telling everyone that wolves are evil despicable creatures, but would anyone listen? No, of course not, and now you're all ******, so "haha...told you so".
Changed Hardcore Spawn so that if you're playing single player (this doesn't apply to multiplayer for obvious reasons), and you are assigned a new spawn location (dying over and over and respawning in the same spot won't do this), you will respawn on the morning after you died. This is to prevent overly harsh situations with respawning in the wilderness in the middle of the night, and to reduce suicidal behavior upon respawn awaiting the next day.
That's a nice change, but something like that seems so unlike something you'd want to add.
Removed the recipe for creating synthetic redstone from the mod. Sorry guys, but this was devaluing mining in the late game at diamond level, which is something I am trying to make more rewarding rather than discourage.
Wanted this for so long. Redstone was always easy to get just through mining.

Hehe...keep in mind, most of my changes make MC harder because it's in such desperate need of it, not because that's the only change I'm capable of making
Lol, it hurts so good with the redstone changes. Although, now that redstone has a block component, and it's no longer a trivially easy resource to obtain, might we be seeing a redstone beacon in the future? Or maybe a coal beacon thanks to coal blocks being added in 1.6? or even a hay bale beacon!?!?!
Ok, half-joking (at least on the hay beacon), but I love the effects and changes you made to beacons so much that I always want more to build! XD I've collected a teir III gold, teir III lapis, teir IV glowstone, teir IV hellstone, and teir I looting beacon so far on BTS's server! \:D/
I would like to ask you this how the hell do I get output from my command blocks now. I was hoping to have a command following elevator but apparently I can't now because you don't like a item.

Command blocks are not available in survival. Creative mode is not supported by this game.

I just feel the need to interject at this point: why is it that BTW players seem to be some of the most maladjusted sarcastic SOB's you are likely to encounter?
I heard you've been thinking water + boats is making this easy.
Kind of funny those little wood boats are okay during large rain storms
Player is never knocked out of them or they break or anything unless they hit shore (They just took away the danger of using them around lillypads).
That they don't need any water proofing or glue/nails to hold them together
Or any oars to push them along.
They basically move by magic and never lose any durability. If a player places a ton of them on a server they just sit there forever maybe causing slight lag or looking bad.
For all they do, they are one of the easiest and low tech items to make in the game.
Lol, I just install and send them the Minecraft.jar (and a custom texture pack).
Yikes that was the shortest wall of text I've encountered. It wasn't the typical page long deal, but somehow made my eyes go out of focus with the first couple of lines and made me fall into the depths of despair looking down towards the rest.
I have no idea what you said in the rest of your post man, but I feel I must congratulate you on introducing me to something I hadn't experienced previously
Can't say that. I respawn in/at jungles in 80% of all cases. Even though You've made mobs spawn on low leaves, they are just too stupid to get to me.
Spawning in jungles may be a very specific case there. 90% of the time in my current world, I am spawning in taiga or other snowy biomes, and while I tend to be able to survive a night spawn, I definitely find it a lot rougher (especially since your hunger tends to deplete while you're running around trying to avoid mobs or sitting in a hole and not really advancing). It can also lead to "gamey" behavior like intentionally killing yourself again as dawn approaches so that you can start the day with a fresh hunger bar. Ultimately, that kind of thing just works towards trivializing death in the player's mind which is the exact opposite of what I've been trying to do with a lot of these changes, in the belief that being genuinely afraid of death contributes a great deal to the fun of trying to survive, and the satisfaction of eventually working your way up the tech tree.
I am aware of the problems that jungle biomes have with still being too easy though, and will hopefully be putting together something to rectify that situation in the near future.
I love wolves too. I like to go to other people's bases, visit the wolves, make sure they're happy, you know? Sometimes I find random bits of jerky on the ground and save it for when I make those trips, just incase they're hungry.

AAAAAHHHH!!!!

Do not worry. I got plans there

3 SFS ingots in a row with 1 unit of redstone dust below doesn't work.
Doh! Thanks for pointing that out.
Wait.
you mean some people DONT hate wolves?

Thank you for feeding my wolves, Storm...
It's how much we care about each other that really makes the BTW community what it is
