It's a myth. Any workarounds currently possible will likely disappear over the next few versions as I continue to move away from the Forge, and result in broken mod functionality at present regardless.
Okay, so when BTW becomes completely free from Forge, it will be no longer compatible with any Forge mods?
I saw earlier someone asking for more use for billows. What if they could blow away leaves, wool, feathers (Without killing the chickens, since the zombie feather nerf is really annoying) cool lava like water or turn lava/sand into blown glass for the sculpting table (A more complex light block recipe), push boats (Like if cargo boats like chest minecrats and you'd make a billows track), maybe a billow on all four sides of a block can make condensed blocks. If items that fly are added, it can push them around.
Maybe billows could be used to make waves at the surface or the water bottom to push items that fall into deep water along still. Or maybe billow waves smooth out currents in water (Which can be really annoying) And another block could be used to create currents. So you could make a changing water system in deeper water. What if a dispenser + water bucket + billows = water spray block that can send out small jets as long as water flows over the top of it. (You can already do a lava version of it in vanilla dispenser + arrow + lava in front = flaming arrow). Speaking of arrows and dispensers, I'll have to see if dispensers can fire the new arrows.
The suba mod seems to have disapeared too, so it could power a suba suit thats on a helmet/hose.
If you add sail boats, billows could be used to slowly push it if the wind isn't blowing. Or make items float on the surface of deep water instead of falling. You could add a second anchor for rope that is used to instantly stop boats or make a powered version of rope/anchors for ceiling hanging gravity effected light blocks that shatter if they hit the ground from more then 2 blocks high
If a billows was placed facing a chest/chest minecart. It'll cause all the items inside to blow out in the direction its facing. So you can have it blow everything over hoppers for easy chest sorting or you could have a rail system with detector rails where carts can change items all by themselves. Like if one chest is full and an item is detected on the ground because of this (pressure plate + billows pushing items around so when one can't fit it'll fall on a plate)
That other billow activates and blows it into a chest cart (And that cart can be sent along to drop off at other chests and a new one can drive up) Making an automated system off billows.
If you need to make a nether gate all you have to do is make a dirt mold. Place 1 lava and 1 water bucket above it. Until you have the whole thing made. What I did on my last map.
If you have a ton of buckets and a cart system from the nether to your base. It could possibly be faster then mining it. Like if you want to make an obsidian floor.
Yeah i've been doing molds since halloween update bcs i'm always slow in finding diamond(i hate strip mining, so boring). The really nasty part is trying to mold with Finite liquid mod. You have to strategically direct surface water into the mold while draining excess water/lava into the void while using grates to coordinate the two fluids and create the obsidian union. It's much easier now as surface oceans act like drawf fortress aquifer's so you never run out. Fun times. Otherwise I only need 1 bucket to direct lava to the appropriate places in the mold and then direct cave water springs into teh mold.
First off great job on the mod FC! Its one of my favorites. My question may be in the wrong area but It is directed at Flowerchild and how he was able to do specifically certain blocks. Have been extremely curious as to how you were able to have "blocks" like the windmill and water mill moving? Thinking about it logically I would say that you built the model in a 3d modeling software then animated it and then moved it into the game. My question for you or anyone else who can answer it, is what format do I export the model out of the software to be able to use in java code? The same question could be asked about mobs also. Thanks for your time.
I'm not trolling ok? I don't lose my time trolling, I was banned from bwt forum for trolling, I'M NOT TROLLING, I post a screen here to show that I'm not trolling.
Considering that recipe list is about 2 months out of date, and all you had to do was look at the beginning of the thread for the correct recipe...you're trying a little too hard man.
Keep in mind though, that it is community maintained, so the information found there is not always up to date. If a crafting recipe found there is not working or what have you, be sure to check here to make sure you have the correct information.
If troll attempt unsuccessful, why you keep going? Better things to do, hmmmm?

Old texturepack? Id Resolver? Optifine?
Tell me if I'm wrong, but there's a very good reason that recipe isn't working... it's not a recipe for anything.
Like id love to use this with Buildcraft ect. like it was in 1.7.3, will it be possible to every use BTW and BC together?
How? The recipe is here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11903425/BTW/BTW2.html

Credibility is crucial.
Thank you, finally someone who can help without say: You are trolling, thankfully!
I'm very happy now, thank you!

If this is old, why this is in the wiki? If the wiki is old, why the wiki is in the topic?
The craftbook mod will tell you all the in-game recipies or the recipe book mod. Its a big mod, you should use one of them.
Shut up and stop trolling.
I will try this mod!
If you find link in OP, why you no read text surrounding it? If you read text, why you no check the OP for correct recipe?
If troll attempt unsuccessful, why you keep going? Better things to do, hmmmm?
