Is the pitch-correction for the new sounds configurable? Because I downloaded the Old Sounds Mod, and while I haven't updated to BTW 3.21, I'd imagine that mechanical power will start making Earth-shakingly low BOOMs if I do.
Apologies for the lack of tasty pastries to contribute. I was very hungry. :sad.gif:
That person, my friend, would be me. It's like the awesomeness of the mod has been increased by like... a million. It's like a whole pastry shop at once, with a free cookie stand outside.
Glad you're enjoying them so much man. It's not really my style to add these kinds of things (just because I find them really tedious to work on...preferring to spend my time on functional blocks), but I do enjoy using them as a player myself.
The idea for adding some aesthetic blocks has been floating around for awhile. It just occurred to me that I could use them now for the Urn, which I wanted to turn into a block for the purpose of automating Soul Urn production. The rest just kinda came out of that
Anyways, you'll be happy to know that more will be coming slowly in the future. I've reserved 32 slots for aesthetic blocks with those 2 block ids, and I think I'm only making use of 12 or 13 of them at present.

But to flowerchild, I literally cannot comprehend how you can do this, it is actually amazing. I like to think of myself as a programmer, but you sir take it to an entire new level.
Thanks man

Also loving the thread name change, wtf is up with the End Realm?
It's a poorly conceived and unnecessary last minute addition to a game that wasn't given sufficient development time to fully mature and instead comes across as a tech-demo for a big flying thing.
LULZ, I know i shouldn't troll and this is way off topic; How do you like the news about Yogscast? LOL, I'm loving it! Leave it to American squeamishness over naughty words to force Notch to get into the prim and proper company mode. It's a ***** when it rolls down hill. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Why??! Why my piggy?! I loved-ed you, piggy! I loved-ed you!
It's kind of weird since he dropped the m(asturbation) word first, but they still should have edited it out.
Yeah, having been raised in the States I find myself surprised (was going to say shocked but that is too strong of a word) by tweets that come from some of the Mojang crew. Unfortunately since they do company business with personal blogs and social networking platforms, personal TMI and colorful language creeps in. Stuff American companies harass you about even if it isn't from a work related account.
Hate to say it but stuffy corporate culture may start creeping in friendly Mojang before too long.
Now you hate ender-dragons!! What next? You hate pigs?
Why would I hate pigs?
If you have to ask the above, you've yet to understand the original arguments I made about wolves that inspired this mod to begin with.
The only features I tend to object to are the ones that take a huge amount of work relative to their benefit to the game.
If you've played the ending of Minecraft, then you know that Enderdragons are such a feature.
I have always had the greatest respect for Notch and his creation. Minecraft is probably the best game I've ever played, and certainly the single game I've gotten the most play time out of...ever.
Having said that though, as someone that cares deeply about the game, I've always felt somewhat obliged to point out when I think the design is going in the wrong direction and use this mod as a counter-example of the kind of stuff I'd much rather see in Minecraft.
My personal opinion is that many of the features in the release version are poorly thought-out and/or implemented. Frankly, I think the whole shift in focus towards combat is a mistake, and that the Enderdragon is the cherry on the cake of this trend.
Minecraft has never been about combat. It's actually always been a weakness of the design. But that's fine. Every game has strengths and weaknesses, and generally I find that the most successful games only really need to do one thing extremely well. Previously, combat really just served as a minor threat to your other in-game activities. It was never a focus.
In devoting such a huge amount of time to improving one of the weakest aspects of the game, and right in the end-stretch before release, I think that Mojang basically did the equivalent of someone that goes out on a date and spends the whole time talking about the wart on their nose, while hardly mentioning their PhD. They focused all that time on the weaknesses of their game, instead of its strengths, and frankly, combat is, and probably always will remain bad in Minecraft.
And not only did they do that, but they also designed a system with XP that causes people to focus their attention on one of the weakest aspects of the game while playing. Previously, combat was entirely optional, but the design is now encouraging people to engage in it, and making it the only way to obtain the most advanced tools available.
"Here...touch my wart...please!"
I've never hated wolves, and I don't hate Enderdragons. However, I have always considered both to be big mistakes in terms of the overall game's development, and both the name of the mod, and my most recent little change to it, are just my humorous way of saying "Come on man! You can do better than that!"

I think she's trying to focus on his money.
Or she's holding a knife and stabbing the midget while smiling.

I think that about covers it
Yeah, I'm not going to get into that one other than to say "HA HA"!
That would correlate with my previous observations.
the yogscast thing? not sure, haven't seen any video's on it.
seems a bit soapy though.
(we really need a Soap Block smiley)
How can anyone hate pigs. They supply BACON.
