OptiFine 1.2.5_HD_MT_A2 + Forge 3.0.1.75 = 0-1 fps after a few seconds in game. Uninstalling Optifine fixes as does rolling back Forge to 3.0.0.72. Haven't tested other versions as I need 3.0.1.75 for NEI

Go away. Why are you still reading this? How much of your own time are you going to waste by continuing to read this even though the first thing I told you was to go away? I've already wasted my time typing this. There is no reason for you to continue wasting your own time for something that doesn't even matter. Are you waiting for me to say something interesting? Fine. Taco. Are you happy yet? Obviously not because you're still reading this. You're hopeless. I should probably stop typing because you're likely to starve to death reading because you just don't know when to quit. Goodbye. Go away. Bon voyage. さようなら
I'm using an ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB. I'm also using Catalyst 11.12 because 12.1-12.3 causes crashes. Turn your AA and AF to application settings and max out your other 3D settings. Then max out Optifine settings to their highest quality but turn OFF Smooth FPS. Let me know.
Thats aight, that is the one I downloaded, I figured it was just the formal name for it or something. Haven't tested it out yet a whole bunch, and I am not sure if it was like this before, but when I loaded a superflat buildworld, it loaded so fast, I didn't even see a loading bar XD However, when I created a map, it didn't seem a WHOLE lot faster, but the loading time for it will probably be better, and besides, loading a superflat world is a piece of cake for any modern cpu XD Anyway, thanks for the consideration with the download link even though I figured it out myself
Oh and with my laptop btw, radeon 3100, dual core processor, low 2 ghz, dont know exactly, I get like 25 fps, if I use optifine and I have max framerate for the settings, I get the same, even on lowest settings D: I have to put it on balanced, then I get like 65 I think max framereate over works my laptop, then it goes "HOLY CRAP >.<!!!!!!" then the fps dips, so just a tip for anyone having issues with fps improvements
I'm using Optifine 1.2.5 HD_A2 Smooth and it doesn't seem that arrows render all the way for me. They dissapear when they reach a certain distance, I though you put that in so they render all the time? OR is this a bug?

the fps is 10 on tiny, 8 with balanced on, 2 on normal and 1 on far. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!
EDIT: now its 0-5 fps on lowest settings possible with optifine standard. WTF?

Also if I go over Far view distance at all even just +16 my game hardly goes 60fps and if I up preloaded chunks it gets lower and lower. I have 12gb of ram and using 64bit java 1.7.
This mod made my minecraft run 1000x more faster than before Thanks for making this mod. Too bad it's not compatible with the water shaders mod But overall, this mod is fantastic! It is a must have for people who want to make their minecraft more faster and change the appearance of minecraft with the more options this mod includes.
I'm using Optifine 1.2.5 HD_A2 Smooth and it doesn't seem that arrows render all the way for me. They dissapear when they reach a certain distance, I though you put that in so they render all the time? OR is this a bug?
Mine reach the 50 block range (give or take 2-3 blocks) and disappear. Which is why killing a skeleton at 50 is hard, because that's the distance mobs disappear at.
CTM isnt working for me. Yes I have it enabled and yes i have a texture pack that supports it. Ive tried it on fancy and fast and I still dont get anything.
[EDIT] Better Snow and Better Grass dont work either.

Did you install OptiFine LAST like you are supposed to?
If not, you're probably overwriting one of OptiFine's classes thus breaking OptiFine.
Try using Magic Launcher instead. Either way, put OptiFine last.

I get this with MT and just modloader.

I think that's just animated textures, so it should. But don't blame me if I'm wrong...
Cuz Misa claims that OptiFine doesn't have full support o_O I should really test it lols :/ Stupid homework and my procrastination...
