Hi there. I installed Optimine (the latest one). Deleted the meta inf folder, pasted the OPtimine classes inside minecraft.jar. It ran great a few nights ago. I tried to run it today and I get an error when I hit the login button.

Then Minecraft just hangs at a black screen.
I still have the copy of the original minecraft.jar (with meta inf and not the optimine classes) and that is working fine.
On Fedora 14, 4gb of RAM, four processors, if it's relevant. I may have just installed something wrong, but there isn't really much to the installation process so I don't know.
edit: Oh, I also don't have any other mods installed. I am using the SimpleCraft texture pack, although I was using that a few nights ago when the Optimine-modded version was working.
Analysis: Better grass is supposed to only place the grass texture on the side of a grass block when that block is touching another grass block (it should also only apply it to the side that is next to the grass block), but this version applies it to the sides of every grass block.

I think that was actually due to a coding limitation at the time. I can see that looking better at least some of the time.
I recall the author being asked if grass could behave like that instead and I believe the response was that it simply wasn't possible. In any case I'm neutral on the subject since I don't use Better Grass ever since they made side grass biome compatible.
All I'm waiting on now is a way to have 2-pass water with the full version and HD Fonts. :smile.gif:

Response: Well, I have seen three different mods capable of performing this task...
Most things work fine, but if I am using Connected Textures Mod (http://www.minecraft...tures-mod-v112/) then all the glass/chest textures become completely transparent.
- added configurable AutoSave interval, fixes the LagSpikeOfDeath
- added BetterGrass (!)
- fixed ModLoader textures, WildGrass working with most texture packs
- faster animated textures
Support for HD fonts still not there.
Please test and report back.
It is soooooooooo smooooooooooooth!! Fantastic, before my frames went from 40-15 every other second, now it stays at 37-39 no matter what! Finally, i love this. I wish many blowjobs from many beautiful women for you.

I can confirm this glitch, luckily I can turn it off. hope it gets fixed soon!

Brilliant!
One small point, using Misa 64x64 texture pack but all MODLoader textures seem to be down-sampled to 16x16 (using custom 64x textures for Millenaire MOD items)
i hate to bother you, but i have something to ask:
i did everthing you said there. if i click the cmd-file it starts minecraft immidiately without me having to log in. isn't that wrong? :huh.gif: if i launch minecraft via the normal launcher i have to log in. aaaaaand how do i know if it worked, i mean, if my minecraft now does run with less memory?
please reply :unsure.gif:
i give you some diamonds
The number 256M makes it use 256 megabytes instead of a gigabyte. And it autologs you in by putting your username and password at the end.

All other Misa textures are rendered as expected.
that happens with my 64x mo' creatures item textures, but it's only a visual bug, all mods work fine

The standalone OptiFog is updated to version F_HD.
Includes all features of OptiFog_Optimine_1.6.6_F_HD without Optimine.
(btw latest of the optifog+Optimine) (I do wish so or idk :biggrin.gif:)
Definitely, but maybe _H or _I.
Compatibility with MCE is next in the list after the HD bugs and HD fonts.

*edit* umm where does it autosave to?
