Hey! I love the work you've done so far. But, In light of the HD support, I'm not sure if HD fonts are being supported too?
It seems that through HD Patcher's method of allowing HD Fonts on the patcher menu, you've got patch it for HD beforehand, meaning you can't use HD Fonts through Optifog/Optimine alone.
I am confused. There are links everywhere. How and what do I download to get this? I love the idea of better FPS (even though it's pretty much fine for me) and more lighting in the dark is a must! Please reply.
Fixed HD water and lava. Behaves more like MCPatcher when deciding which water/lava is to be used.
Added configurable Smooth Lighting. Configure how dark the Smooth Lighting has to be.
Added fast Debug Info screen without Lagometer.
With the newest version of optimine+optifog-E-HD it makes the game get like 0.02 fps when I have RandomMobs mod enabled it works great when I turn RandomMobs off though

I thought there was something wrong with Optifog in this update, but it seems randomobs causes alot of lag atm... Now everything is great :biggrin.gif:
I'm having an absolute bear of a time getting the newest version of this to play nice with mcpatcher, jf.class or no. Simply going without isn't an option, because mcpatcher is necessary to get custom textures/icons for mods like Nandonalt's moretrees or Syrup's fancypack working alongside custom texture packs. Do I need to install Optifog before or after the HD texture fix in mcpatcher?

Looks like the 1.6.6_E_HD version can not be installed without the jf.class. There is a dependancy on the class. I will have to find a way around it.
What textures/icons are not working without the MCPatcher? Can you post a screenshot?

that happens to me too, and it happens with all mods that add ITEMS to the game. mobs and blocks are fine, but mod ITEMS always have invisible textures.
anyway, I'm using better grass from the mcpatcher, and the new 1.6.6_E_HD version makes the sides of grass not biome compliant like it was with the D version. I adjusted the grass settings in the detail settings menu, but it's the same no matter what. I also have the modloader grass fix on if that matters.
my install order was 1. modloader 2. use mcpatcher to add ONLY better grass and 3. install optifog/mine 1.6.6_E_HD version

Absolutely. Let me show you me holding a Fancypack chair, in front of a palm tree, with HD textures from mcpatcher off and optifog on, respectively with default textures and then with a custom texture pack (Misa's).
No, I don't know what's up with the rendering. That problem is new to me and possibly has something to do with me borking up the install order of some of this. I'm somehow inclined to suspect Bettergrass as the culprit, but that's a separate issue. For this, just look at the trees and the item in hand. With mcpatcher HD textures installed, the chair and tree both render correctly in both setups (see last image).
Note: I tried to roll back to version D to get the same error message concerning jf.class when I installed without it. However, this MAY be human error on my part. I'm still experimenting.
It doesn't seem to have the same effect when you turn on Fast Debug... The FPS increases, but it still gets the lag spikes. The effect must have something to do with the lag-o-meter...
Uh oh. Found a bug. Not sure if this bug was already found and posted, but when you select a hd texture pack (32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256), my mods are screwy, and won't work. But when I revert back to a normal (16x16) texture pack, everything is fine, and the mods work again. Sorry if this was already posted before.
Could you update the title of the topic when you put out a new update? Either with the version of the update and/or the date of the update? It just makes it easier to see when there's an update vs forum chatter.

This may be the problem (taken from FancyPack readme.txt):
" N.B.: FancyPack will and MUST overwrite bw.class (renderblocks) of the new ModLoader to work. Otherwise, all new block shapes (furniture, for example) will be invisible!"
Both ModLoader and the OptiFog_Optimine_E use the bw.class. Just make sure that you use the bw.class from FancyPack.

Thanks for the Fast Debug screen!
Now I can use my 128x pack on MP :biggrin.gif:
