Also, randomly when I hit the mipmap button, I get a saving chunks screen and the game crashes.

I made an account just to say that the new version of OptiFog is amazing. HD textures with mipmapping looks so nice!

I downloaded it and did what the instructions told me to but when I run Minecraft it brings up some error report and says that Minecraft has crashed. Any idea how to solve this?

Fix the thing that's making it crash.

Can't give more details unless you give more details. What does the rest of the error message say? Do you have any other mods?

I need a bit of help here installing this mod. It seems simple, as simple as just dragging the stuff into the minecraft.jar. It doesn't seem to work though so I am a bit lost. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't work with texture packs that have custom water or lava.

Edit: Ok, NOW it works. What the hell? It keeps working and not working with no apparent reason for the change. Weird.

Edit 2: Ok I see. For some reason custom water and lava vanish when making changes in the menu, but come back when you start playing again. Well, whatever, not a huge deal.

That also happens with mcpatcher.

MC patcher says that both Download OptiFog + Optimine 1.6.6_C and ModLoader use the kr.class
I chose to continue patching anyway. Minecraft runs properly but does this error affect the fps boost or not?

Awesome!! I don't have a old computer, but it only has 2 GB of ram and an integrated graphics card.. :/ so this things got me from average 20 FPS to average 30-40 FPS thanks so much! It's also not blocky, it's smooth

So, any ideas on why debug mode is so much more efficient on certain machines?

mac version of optifog and optimine goes to a survey. please change as its both annoying and against the rules of the forum. but other than that, awesome mod(s) works great on my low end pc!

Could you please make it compatible with ModLoader... They both use the kr.class.

Install it to a clean Minecraft.jar. Use the optifog+optimine_D_HD download.

Please read the first post. Hint: look for "ModLoader".

Opimine causes my wter fountain to look weird and mipmapping looks horrible :/
