Glass disappears in the distance. Is there an option that can fix this?

Does this work with the Windows 10 version or just the JAVA edition?

So, it's been over a year since I last tried to download Optifine. I was on the Optifine official site, but when I downloaded it, I ended up getting some kind of virus that forced me to completely reinstall my operating system and reformat my drives. I don't know what I did wrong. I'm interested in trying once more, but I don't want to go through this again. If anyone knows what might have happened and what I can do to prevent it this time, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Chances are that whatever you got came from the adfocus redirect page that the download link takes you to before the actual download page. If you want to avoid that completely you can just click the link which says "(mirror)" next to "Download". Also, this goes without saying, but make sure you don't click on any ads instead of what you're actually intending to download, and actually check the file name and extension type of what you've downloaded before running it. OptiFine comes in a .jar file. If it's a .exe, do not run it.

Hi, is that possible to make custom item/block/entity textures for other mods ? I want to make a mod armor texture depending of it name, but it don't work.
If I can, where have I to put my optifine folder on my resourcepack, and have I to say the entire item id (for example thermalexpansion:wrench) in my properties files ?

I apologize for sound like a idiot but how are people getting Optifine 1.16? I go here but its not even at 1.15 yet https://optifine.net/downloads. So where are people getting the new versions? I tried https://github.com/sp614x but I don't see it. I'm a just that blind and dumb?

there is no optifine 1.16. You can get 1.15 by clicking "Preview versions"

Buenos diaz quisiera que me pudiesen responder algo que la verdad me esta molestando mucho y incluso deveria ser alreves. bueno el problema que tengo es que le descarge unos shaders a mi minecraft y se los quite porque me iva a pcos fps entonses desde ese momento el minecraft solo con el cliente opptifine 1.12.2 derrepente me ba a 0 fps quisiera que me respondan porque crei que al siguiente dia se resolveria pero sigue asi orfavor alguien respondame

is there a way to make my optifine cape a pixel art cape insted of having to use banners

I'm having problems installing. When I go to open the .jar file (1.14.4), nothing happens. A window seems to appear for a split-second and then disappears. Then nothing. Ideas?
