Careful, a nagger has appeared. Do shaders already work with modded MC?
(yes, this does belong here! Trust me, I toyed around enough with the shaders and the shadermod to have enough understanding about where such a question belongs. Just in case)

Yes, I AM a Vampire. Nice of you to notice.
Why is that box so big? What do you mean I should stop breaking the fourth wall?
For some reason, I get this crash. I don't know why it happens. I tried to uninstall Optine, and it keeps crashing. Also Real Serene. Same thing. Can someone help me? Please!
Hello, I'm working on making overlay textures for my pack and I've ran into some trouble.
I can't seem to get the overlays to work with single slabs, it works fine with double slabs (for some reason) however it seems to ignore single slabs.
The arrow is the double slab and the circled area is where it should connect but doesn't.
Here is what's in the property file:
matchBlocks=cobblestone mossy_cobblestone stone diorite granite andesite
method=overlay
tiles=0-16
faces=north south east west
connectBlocks=stone_bricks stone_brick_slab stone_brick_stairs
layer=cutout
Hello there, Zaesar.
I wouldn't even know what is going wrong with shaders for you.
I quite recently installed a shader on my (Forge) modded client and I experienced no apparent issues.
What exactly are you having problems with?
Used to have.
'bout half a year ago. I just wanted to know if it works by now on 1.12.2 which it did not back then.
So, I gather from this that it works.
That answer is one I had to wait many months to wait for xD

So I tested the preview version of Optifine. It crashes. Well, makes other mods crash. I tested it with a variety of mods, and it seems that mobs are the one that take the biggest it:

The official location for reporting and monitoring bugs associated with Optifine is their issue tracker: https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues Using this generally gets speedy responses and allows you to search for if your bug is already known, what resolution there may be and/or if someone had the issue before and was able to get it resolved one way or another. During preview development this tracker will change and update often as people report bugs and they get fixed so if you're playing with optifine development builds and experience an issue this is the first place to go. I've used this tracker to report bugs, suggest enhancements and troubleshoot various issues, rarely having to wait more than a day for a response. Just make sure you take the time to search your issue and make sure it isn't operator error before posting (you'd be surprised how many people reported CTM not working without ever reading the documentation or numerous closed issues where others were told they had to rename the mcpatcher folder) so you don't end up waiting for an answer that's already been given.
One of those websites, I doubt I will ever manage to find anything in without ever going crazy.
Plus, I asked if it that, which works with vanilla, works with modded too by now, which it did not back when I tried it the last time.
I know what you were asking, and it seemed as though you got your answer, but since you were upset about having to wait a long time for a reply to a question I thought I'd point you towards a place specifically designed for those questions to be asked and quickly answered. I'm not sure what issues you've had with Github in the past but when I click the link I provided you I'm taken to a page with all the current open issues, a search bar in the top left and a 'new issue' button on the top right- I'm not sure how it could get much simpler than that. I just think it's a shame to see people ask questions and report bugs here and get frustrated by a lack of response when the Github is actively used every day by the optifine development team who welcome bug reports.
First I would like to say thankyou for the recent version of Optifine for 1.13, absolutely brilliant stuff as always. OUTSTANDING!
Unfortunately the RadialFog shader you provided for the AMD/Intel users worldwide is not compatible with the 1.13 version of Minecraft, its the shader which correctly renders fog around the player.
From further research I have managed to download some recent 1.13 shaderpacks and unfortunately every shaderpack has the broken fog, (The horizonline is black with no fog rendered) You can see all the chunks loading which looks terrible.
This happens on any AMD or Intel GPU, seems that Mojang/Nvidia has once again broken the fog, disgusting tactics as usual from the ''Jealous Greeneyed Monster'' that is Nvidia.
It looks like from reading up on the issue that many shaders have broke on the recent update, I do remember you saying that the fog shader was from another shaderpack but I cannot remember which one? I was hoping maybe you remembered where the shader originated from so maybe we could extract a newer version if its even updated.
I believe the RadialFog shader was extracted from Sildurs Enhanced shaders, we have downloaded all the recent shaderpacks from Sildur and unfortunately once again, the fog is completely broken on any AMD/Intel GPU.
Absolutely gutted about this, and were really sorry for asking you once again sp614x, you literally fixed this mess for all AMD/Intel users and we are eternally grateful, is there any chance you could help out us old minecraft veterans with this game breaking issue?
Let's see...I created this world while I was offline. Then I tried to open it up online, and it worked! However, I tried to opened it up again, offline. To check if I could play Minecraft with all my mods offline.
Here are the crashes that I got. With and without Optifine (and the latest log of each time I tried):
PS. Yes, I posted this in Github. However, I want all the users to know the dangers that may arise by playing Online and Offline Minecraft by combining Optifine and Biome Bundle.
Hello. I have a fresh install of the latest MC and optifine. I get this problem:
As you can see, I seem to either not be loading chunks or my render dist is too low However this viewing distance doesn't change even when I max out my render distance to very high levels. I don't get this on vanilla minecraft. I experience this problem online and offline.
Careful, a nagger has appeared. Do shaders already work with modded MC?

The 1.14 render engine hasn't been deobfusctated yet so it is hard to say how it works.
Looking at the 1.14 performance and looks it is probably the same as 1.13, but packed in a different way.
Nice job with the new version 1.13.2_HD_U_E5. My water surface bug is gone and chunks are loading faster than ever when flying around, no hiccups!

I remember last time I wanted to know something and I waited a tad and gave up, just to be told to be patient.
I think 5 days are enough patience.
So, anybody got an explanation for my question or not?
Shaders are awesome and they are very much part of optifine.

I have also tried making a separate property file for the slabs but that didn't work either
Stairs didn't work at all, I also tried to specify all the extra stuff too eg: minecraft:stone_brick_stairs:facing=east,half:bottom ect...

Bugreport:
In 1.8.9-OptiFine_HD_U_I7 render distance over 32 chunks doesnt work, it doesnt load any chunks further away than 32 chunks.
I can't seem to get reflections or animated water/lava to work in 1.13.2 with or without shaders (I've tried Bulders, QOL and SEUS)
Any ideas?
I noticed that as well, I thought it was just me.and yes, in 1.13.2 as well. are you using RIFT loader? that's what I was using.
