Keep up the good work, I was impressed to see this mod on how it enhances the graphics! Then suddendly they updated MC to 1.11 and so I had to my server which I play in and... Looking forward to your release.
Is there a link to download a preview version?

Seems like Optifine 1.7.10 isn't updating anymore but anyways I want to report this bug when using Optifine as Forge Mod you get this OutOfMemory error under 32-bit Java with a few mods and Xmx set as high as you can (I know it's wrong, using it just for test) the client stucks at loading screen stage 1/7 (Constructing Mods) it even doesn't produce a crash-report log. Just throws this to fml-client-latest.log and javaw's CPU-loading 0% until you close the window.

I can not reproduce the invisible entities.
Already tried singleplayer, multiplayer, shaders, AA, AF, different resource packs, etc.
Is there a specific option that triggers it?
You can try to reset the video settings and try the options one by one.
Forge or OptiFine standalone? Which Forge version?
Only singleplayer or multiplayer?
Specific steps to reproduce it, for example: create new world, seed XYZ, walk to 120,70,600 see the sheep disappear?
Any errors in the error log?
I have not had this issue either, not on SP / SP to LAN / MP.
My machines all run nVidia cards though, running the latest drivers.

The real problem "java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: field_191308_b" is caused by Forge rewriting the item registry (not backwards compatible). Fixed in preview A4.
Awesome, thanks mate! Man, you are always ontop of things!
I can play fine. However, my second browser of Minecraft crashes after a minute or 2 of being open in a world. My main Minecraft browser remains open and fine in the world.

Additionally, on a multiplayer server with a friend, said friend has 3-5 times tried being right beside me, and yet unable to see me, although F3+A to reload chunks would fix it, but beyond that, neither of us had invisible entities for any other things. I play with OptiFine in order to increase the quality to near the maximum (though with a render distance of 16), and my friend plays with OptiFine in order to get the best performance while things still look medium-good....
The invisible entities in multiplayer should be fixed in preview A5 for 1.11.

Hello OptiFine experts! I have always wanted this mod, but have never succeeded installing it. Talking with players on servers about this I am led to think its the easiest thing in the world! But I feel like there is some mundane detail they assume I know about that I do not.
I go to the optifine page.
I wait out the adfly and click on the download.
The bar pops up at the bottom of my screen asking what to do with this file. I click "Save As" and save it to the desktop.
Download complete.
I see the new OptiFine 1.10 folder on my desktop and double click it. It opens via WinRAR.
From the top task bar in the WinRAR window I choose "extract to," then, using the directory, I choose the mods folder in the .minecraft folder and hit enter.
The window comes up showing the extraction and the progress bar moves quickly.
Then it is over (apparently).
I launch minecraft, edit profile, and FAIL. The optifine version is not there!
I see the new OptiFine 1.10 folder on my desktop and double click it. It opens via WinRAR.
Right there. That's your problem. You shouldn't be extracting it with WinRAR or anything else.
There are two ways to install Optifine. If you have Forge or Liteloader installed, just skip to the part where you put it into your mods folder. Yes, the whole .jar file. Just put it in your mods folder and load your game. Don't extract it or anything else, just cut and paste the .jar file into /.minecraft/mods/. Done.
The other way is if you don't have either Forge or Liteloader. Instead of extracting it with WinRAR, right-click on it and select Open With > Java(TM) Platform SE binary. (I'm assuming your using Windows. If not, you'll need to open it with Java in whatever way your OS does that.) This will actually open up a small window with a few buttons at the bottom. If you have a custom directory for Minecraft you'll need to specify it. After you've done that, or if you just have the default directory, click the "Install" button. You should now have a new profile to select from the Minecraft launcher (drop-down box in the bottom-left corner) that says "Optifine" in it. Select it and you're good to go.

Hello. So I tried logging into Optifine to change my cape, but it says that my login info is incorrect, yet I am able to log into the official minecraft website with the same information. Ive tried this so many times and now its making me wait 20 minutes to try to relog on Optifine. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?
i have the same problem.the entities become invisible randomly and i can temporarily fix it by pressing f3+a
How to reproduce?
Slightly off topic, but is OptiFine all run by one person?! Props to you my friend!

Noticed that if you do something like:
Optifine won't be able to parse it, unless you set Colorboost to a value, like this:
Not sure if that's intended or just a bug.Patreon, Offical Website, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Shaderlabs Discord, Optifine Discord

When I mine a chest with a custom entity model, it overlays the model texture twice instead of overlaying the block destroy animation. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug with Optifine?
Here's my code:

chest_large.png (112x16)
chest.jem
chest.jpm

Hello. So I tried logging into Optifine to change my cape, but it says that my login info is incorrect, yet I am able to log into the official minecraft website with the same information. Ive tried this so many times and now its making me wait 20 minutes to try to relog on Optifine. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?
