I have tried the new Optifine 1.8.1 B4 and are still have the issue of flickering clouds when moving character. I have again tried various tweaking of settings on and off and have yet not found the cause to this. If anyone knows whats causing this for me, please let me know. Thanks.

Can you make an optifine Light for 1.8+? standard or ultra just drops my FPS worse but light on 1.7 runs way smoother for me and i think it would work good for 1.8+ too

If you tweak your settings, you can get it so it's like the lite version. Just keep turning off things until you get a stable FPS.
I try to run Optifine 1.8.1 HD Ultra B4, but it does nothing. No installer, nothing. What do I need to do to get it to install for 1.8.1?

Using Optifine 1.7.10 HD_U_B4 I'm receiving constant tessellation errors that crash my game upon world load when used with Botania. According to Vazkii, this should be fixed on your side. Can you talk to her and fix it?
I'm trying to install this on the ftb ressurection pack, but I can't because the installer isn't compatible with ftb. Is there any place I can get my hands on the .jar that I can just drop into my mods folder like the rest of the mods in the modpack?

You have OptiFine installed two times, not going to work.in my folder there is only optifine_hd_u_b4
