I tried this while making a world with a different name and the same error happened. May I please have some help with this? I'm trying to inspect a map for a video and I need this fixed ASAP. I need Optifine for the texture pack I use, and before you ask, no, it's not the texture pack. I tried with vanilla textures. This doesn't happen on vanilla as far as I can tell. I can load up the same world in vanilla and it doesn't crash. Please fix this or tell me how to. Thank you in advance for your help.
So, with the 1.6 update and all these changes things have been difficult for a lot of people I'm sure. Here is my problem with optifine and forge compatibility as of the 1.6.2 update. I have read a few tutorials on how to get them to work together and sure they've worked kinda sorta in a very confusing editing sort of way, even if I get them working together I'm not sure how I would install other mods with forge as things are all screwy. Optifine isn't the only mod I use however it is probably the most important mod for me as it significantly raises FPS and make the game look better overall. If someone could help me with getting optifine and forge to work together and allow me to still install other mods, I'd be very grateful. Edit... I have Windows 7. I don't know how to install forge with Magic Launcher and I'm not sure if that would work anyways.
Is there one file that fixes this: http://i.imgur.com/GSRc1cT.jpg That I could install just it and not the entire mod. I'm getting more conflicting things with forge mods even NEI crashes and such now. I rather just install the single only reason I used OPTFINE. To make the chunks loading work right.
Well the problem for sure there is Optifine behind. Mods like NEI that's pretty big and important don't work. use the recommended forge then it will not load. If you use the latest forge and scroll through NEI you get this error: http://pastebin.com/i87xEyrS
What I was trying to say though is the ONLY reason I use optifine is to correct this:
Optifine has always been a VALUABLE asset to my Minecrafting experience from day 1 that I found it i have ALWAYS had it installed. Refuse to play Minecraft without it!

I'm using Minecraft 1.5.2
Before optifine: All graphics at minimum (Tiny, no smooth lighting, minimal particles...) 5~12 FPS (8 FPS average)
After optifine All graphics ati minimum (no animations, options at fast) 8~15 FPS (12 FPS average)
Final impression: It increased about 25% FPS, but made it more stable, also, I cant play without it. The zoom is really useful. (you probably noticed my computer is REALLY laggy, already bought a new one)
THANKS OPTIFINE!

Forge #789 and Optifine standard / ultra are incompitable, apparently, unlike what is being said in the OP.
Without Forge, both standard and ultra work fine.
Without standard or ultra, Forge works fine as well.
Only when I have both Forge 789 and Optifine standard / ultra, then it doesn't work anymore. Kinda strange.
Minecraft just loads normally without any crashes or conflicts, but when creating or entering a world, it's stuck at loading or converting/building the world. And it's just stuck. It doesn't produce an error log of sorts which I can share.
Optifine Light works fine for some reason, but as it's not as configurable as standard or ultra, it doesn't have much use to me as minecraft still lags incredibly with Light.
I am using the Magic Launcher for both Forge and Optifine. Right now attempting if it makes any difference when installing Forge directly into the minecraft jar.
I know this isn't much to go on, but I just wanted to share this and hopefully someone can reproduce it.Forge #789 and Optifine standard / ultra are incompitable, apparently, unlike what is being said in the OP.

Yeah there definitely is something wrong. When using B2 Ultra, there were no issues. For B3, It was working fine until the developers ( not optifine , the normal launcher dev team ) updated from 1.1.0, to 1.1.1, and then out of nowhere ( I had been using B3 for 2 days prior ), my game completely stalls, and the only way I can get out of it is if I end task from task manager. B4 Ultra does the same as well. I'm not sure if it is the launcher update from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 that broke it, or whether it was just a freak thing, but I can't even use optifine now because it crashes on any version on the new launcher for me.
I did what it said to have this with forge, and I get an error when I launch it saying, "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal experation has occured. Program will exit. And in the console, it says that code you gave for the JVM was invalid. Im using optifine ultra B1 and forge 789 both for 1.6.2

You need 2 arguments with forge and they have to be written exactly, with one space after 'Xmx1G' and one space between these two arguments: -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
