Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)

This happens when trying to install Optifine and Forge in 1.6.2.
Is this an Optifine problem or an MCPatcher problem?

EDIT: Never mind!
If anybody else runs into this problem, simply hit "Edit Profile" and enter the following codes into your JVM arguments.
"-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true"
(Be sure to put a space between them and the code before them.)

I need help. Standard says it just has HD compatibility. Light just gives FPS boost and nothing else. But Ultra offers EVERYTHING! I just want maximum FPS and HD compatibility. Oh and I'm definitely donating.

I need help, I installed it into Magic Launcher with Forge using the easy way, but whenever I install any mod it loads the mojang screen then crashes [ I am on a mac 10.8 ]

It shouldn't be, however if it is set for automatic scanning it may be slowing your computer for periods of times.

You can try Razer Game Booster, It basically closes all tasks that aren't necessary once you open the game.
If you're on a laptop it may be slowed down by power saving or eco mode's

If you have more than 4gb of ram consider running minecraft on a ramdisk, this will greatly improve the fps (search how to "insanely speed up minecraft")

Is there any idea what the status is on the fixes for the B4 update? B2 and B3 render fonts properly with texture packs, but B4 does not in all cases (like the Zombe mod text status display in the upper left corner when toggled on). I understand that sometimes things get "broken" when you try to address other problems, but I was hoping the fixes would be pretty easy and fast to implement.

It seems that custom colors will take away any hardcoded biome coloring that is not a vanilla biome, such as ominous woods(BOP) (only the grass color for some reason). Also, could lightmap compatibility for non-vanilla dimensions be added?

edit: The culprit is custom colors! When the option is on, all vanilla foliage does not get any hardcoded biome coloring (non-vanilla foliage does, though). Even foliage that is not normally biome-colored gets the default coloring. When the option is off, all is well (except for the fact that custom biome palettes, lightmaps, etc is disabled). I guess I should also mention that custom water color is not turned off, even though it is part of custom colors. Please fix this as soon as possible.

edit 2: I am using the Argon 32x texture pack for this. It uses custom colors for water and ice, so that might be where optifine is tripping up.

This looks like a bug in BlockBed (amy) which is not modified by OptiFine.
Turning OFF multi-core chunk loading may fix it.

It looks like a graphics driver which does not support Multi-Core Chunk Loading (running Linux?).
You can try to disable Multi-Core Chunk Loading.

Hi sp614x, are you planning to add the Open/True Type fonts support in OptiFine? Mmm... Original Unicode in Minecraft - bad...

I followed all the instructions for the 1.6.2 download on magic launcher and everything is fine but it wont give me the options that are included in the mod to change things . Does anyone know why this is happening?

I'm getting MAJOR graphical bugs, I know it's optifine doing it (or optifine conflicting with one of my other mods) and this is driving me crazy. It seems to be associated with blocks being broken/placed. Goes crazy with redstone and moving liquids (falling sand and gravel are also good ways to trigger it), this is just an example. This a known bug or just me?
