yea the same thing keeps happening to me but im using an imac with mountain lion installed before that it never happeed
Hi. I have a problem. I use Optifine 1.5.2 U D2 and forge 7.8.0.688 with a few mods.
When I turn on the MC without optifine I see textures normally, but when I turn on the MC with optifine so are items invisible. Sample:
Try reseting back to the vanilla game, switching to the default texture pack and then re-patching with Optifine.
It could be an issue caused by the base-code trying to load 32px as a standard pre-modifyer instead of 16px.
For Minecraft 1.5.2, in Optifine, when you enchant, only the front of the item's enchant force is visible. The side is still "Not enchanted".It's only the front. Optifine HD D2.

Notice how only the front has the enchanting particles?
Thank you so much for this mod. Without, i get a maximum of 12 FPS. With, i get at least 20 and sometimes 30, making playing on PVP servers way easier. Now i can play Hunger Games and win!
I used to like optifine before it started saying downloading terrain and being stuck there ._. But I uninstalled optifine and it was fine but my game lags a bit without it so if you can please help me
What version of forge? I think I have the recommended one, and I crash. I use MagicLauncher, and it says it's not compatible. When I removed optifine, forge works.

Generally any version of forge works with optifine. Just make sure you have the correct version of optfine and forge for your minecraft. Put forge ontop of the internal mods list and it should work

We are currently trying to render fire in the furnace, but with Optifine installed the fire wasn't appearing.

Its a lingering optifine bug. Particles render behind entities. Eat some food with an animal in front of you and you will see the particles are not visible while they pass in front of the mob.
In my mod, i was forced to not use the tesselator and render manually.

That's incredibly irritating, especially when dealing with particles. :/
FYI, D2 has rendering issues w/mekanism items, atomic science, mfr, and possibly a few others. The items only bug out in the inventory, and NEI, but placed they're fine. MFR items are only bugged in NEI. Mekanism, and atomic science, only in the inv. And, on the top bar of the creative inv, they're partially fixed. Like this:

EDIT: I know that from many versions of experience.
I also wanted to say that I get a complete double in my fps running identical settings (from 60 fps to 120+ fps) and can run 60 fps at max settings with OF installed. Great mod.

I don't want to upgrade to 1.5.2, because the clock is broken in D2.
