I had a slight bug with the Multi-thread version of the mod. It will randomly make certain portions of the terrain flicker with invisibility. I can still move over the affected areas, but I can see down to about lava level...
If it is important, I run an XPS m1730 with Intel Duo core2 extreme 3.4ghz, 6gb ram, and twin 512mb Nvidia 9800m GT's. I also have java updated to the latest version, and I run the 64bit version.
My FPS are solid at 60fps during gameplay, but this invisibility effect happens randomly where ever I go, usually on ground that is above my current hieght. I've tried changing the options, but it happens anyway.
Just wanted to give you a heads up incase someone else hadn't reported this already.
Great mod, I love what it does. I'll just use the normal one untill all the hicups are worked out. :biggrin.gif:
I am having some troubles with my 256x256 pack. The flowing lava does not seem to have the correct texture while still lava does. Is there a fix for this?
I have noticed the ODDEST bug. When in f3 and looking at the lag spikes (I am getting ~70FPS) they look all fine and short and green, but if you move your crosshair down below the position of "straight ahead" it jumps up dramatically into a thick red mass and I get ~15FPS.
Things I was doing at the time if you want to replicate:
-was at a very high altitude (was playing the skyblock challenge map)
-in creative mode
-short render distance
-the default optifine, not smooth or MT
I don't know if any of those played a role but it's what I was doing at the time and I haven't tried any other ways yet.

Do you like Minecraft, helping people in need, AND winning prizes? Craft For A Cause is for you then!
I see there is a version named "Classic", but does that mean Optifine or Optifog works with Minecraft Classic/Alpha (the free web version)?
I'd like to trial this a little before I buy in, with my older comp, to make sure it will actually run. So far, it doesn't :tongue.gif: Whenever I walk around I get "lag" or a hang for 30-60s or until I minimize/restore the browser window. Standing still and looking all around, even on Far render distance works fine with good FPS. I'm guessing this is due to chunk loading problems, which I'm hoping this mod will fix.
1.3ghz & 1.5ghz P4, 1gb ram, GF Ti4400 128mb DDR
Theoretically, no. Optifine Classic does not work to the free web-version of Minecraft.
Tried installing the MT version and everything goes fine until I try to load my world it gets stuck at "Saving Chunks" for a few minutes then the screen goes black..anyone know a fix?

Try other versions first. Or other mod is conflicting with OF. Otherwise I don't know.

Too addicted with Counter-Strike: Source for some reason...

Similar problem here, except I've only noticed it whenever I activate a redstone circuit (made a T flip-flop controlled piston-powered door). Don't think it's important, but I've got an i7 2630QM and Nvidia GT 555M. Haven't had any problems with the Classic and Smooth versions though.
And we might break up if I don't wake up to the sun.
That's because Optifine is not compatible with Forge. It happens the same with other Forge Mods.

Read the his whole post.
You didn't read whole post in the TODO section. He's working on it.
Thanks, fixed it.

Still getting bad lag after trying out the stand-alone fix and Optifine.
Am I doomed to never play this game again or what?
