I fis this by going into options and changing the brightness to false. hope this helps.
Well, OptiFine doesn't work with Forge yet, which IC2 needs. So that's the main issue...
Jesus Christ on a bicycle.
"Can you update for 1.8? 1.8 please. Pre-release. Pre-release. Pre-release. Can you update for 1.8 pre-release? Update for pre-release. Where's the update. Update nao. When is this going to update for 1.8 pre-release? Update updateupdateupdateupdate."
It only leaked less than 2 days ago and isn't even a very stable build (obviously why it kept getting delayed). Just hold the hell on and be patient. This mod will be updated for 1.8 in time, but not for a pre-release. He's probably working on it right now using the pre-release but there's no point in rushing for an update. Once 1.8 is officially out, most of the work will be done from the pre-release and adapted for the real 1.8 and released in due time. If your computer can't handle it at the moment, go back to 1.7.3.
I can't play single player :3 but im fine because i can play multiplayer with fast on normal lag free, but i want to get 30-40 frames on far fancy :biggrin.gif:
Okay, this is what happened when I played with a jar file that had the multicore optifine on it, toomanyitems, modloader, and audio mod, without changing any of those when I put the file into the jar.

Just seeing what would happen if I put it in
Did you installed it in this order?
- Modloader
- Optifine
- AudioMod
- TooManyItems
Dude, why haven't you updated this to MC 1.8? I mean, we all know that coding takes only a few seconds.
For that matter, why haven't you updated this for MC 1.9? I know it's not out yet, but you should at lease guarantee compatibility.
I wanted to see what would happen if I overlapped the two Optifines, because when I usually update optifine, I just drag the new file and it replaces all the files
Are you stupid or something? how can he update it for 1.9 if he doesn't know what needs to be edited? you obviously have no idea what sort of time and effort people put into these or how they even work for a start. You and your pre-pubescent friends just want things when its convenient for you. 1.8 is still a pre-release and if you haven't noticed is full of bugs, he probably waiting for the official version to come out in case anything big changes and would break the pre release version. freaking 11 year old noobs :dry.gif:
u just got trolled...noob
also...can't wait for the 1.8 pre for this mod...can't play it without it =P

I really hope you weren't being serious, but i'm pretty sure you were. :laugh.gif: :laugh.gif: You fail
I can't wait til OptiFine updates to 1.8! But I think he should wait for the official 1.8 to come out because of all the bugs, like god_chris said:"1.8 is still a pre-release and if you haven't noticed is full of bugs, he probably waiting for the official version to come out in case anything big changes and would break the pre release version." Anyways thanks for this awesome mod! I went from about 13 FPS with Misa's HD to 25! And on the default I went from about 17 FPS to 20-50 FPS! I would give you a diamond statue of Enderman murdering Herobrine, but 1. There's no icon lol and 2. I suck at statues of mobs/people lol
Was wondering if an ETA can be given for the fix to allow Optifine to work with Forge? There are some mods i can't use because they require Forge and i have Optifine installed.

Life is a Learning Curve.... Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
Awesome! I love this mod so much, Minecraft would suck without it. The zoom feature helps a lot too! I find myself using it more than I thought to read signs and spy on players. I owe the creator my Minecraft experience :biggrin.gif:
All right, I think I need some help, I put Optifine on my Minecraft with all the fastest settings on and it worked perfectly for about 2 minutes and then it just froze. I've tried Classic, Smooth and Multithreaded. I don't know what to do now! :/
Did you make a batch file to optimize Java and do you have Java 1.7? Those are needed to use HD Textures, but may help.

Optifine Experimental

He makes this mod in his spare time. The same spare time which we use to play Minecraft. Or that he could be using to play Minecraft.
Have some damn patience. It will get updated to 1.8. But it won't happen any faster by asking.
Thanks!
