Don'tcha just LOVE when you can't switch to Fast without getting an error?

Neckbeards! Doctor Cichocki does not approve of stupidity and neither do I, stop the spread of damned useless rules!
Just a question, will this work with other mods such as More Creeps and Weirdos?
I just really can't play Minecraft Vanilla anymore, after spoiling myself with this mods, I just can't go back. However with this mods means less FPS because my computer, well it's a Dual Core, however this I'm using for now computer isn't up to date.

Same error occurs on all versions of HD_F, even with it as the only mod installed.
hey just as a recommendation, would the utilization of Minecraft Forge make the mod base-clean? why don't you take a look? this API will be a requirement for some mods on the future (BuildCraft, BTW, IR+RP and some more) so, if you can make it compatible with MCF (or make it work under that API) would be AWESOME!
check that api, it has lots of useful hooks!

So why did you ask?
(And why do you think "no" is a suitable replacement for "know"? Or "at" for "that"?)
The waving water is a GLSL shader.
For this mod to support GLSL shading, there would be a lot of code-rewriting necessary.
sp614x isn't about to perform that rewriting (although a LOT of people would appreciate it, I think). Ergo, this mod cannot support that effect. Or any other GLSL shader. Yet.
Hey, is that possible to add an anti aliasing option?
That would be awesome!
If you have an NVidia video card, follow these instructions. It works together with Optifine as long as you disable Mipmapping. I'm using it right now, and it's so pretty! It especially helps mitigate the noise you get with high-res textures when moving around. Beware, though, it might eat too much of your FPS if you turn it up too high.

It's the anisotropic filtering that doesn't really work together with mipmapping.
That anisotropy doesn't even really work in Minecraft at all anyway.
I have the antialiasing together with the mipmapping (thanks to the standalone mipmapping mod) all the time. I can't stand the game without either of them.
For some reason, downloading the Filecopter of default F crashes my Minecraft, usually instantaneously. The error screen crashes, as well, so I can't see what's what.
The Hulkshare version works just fine.
E_MT Far View + Far Distance gives me 6.5gb ram usage after all chunks get loaded. Looking out across the world from a relatively high point gives me about 6 or 7 frames with no culling and with goes up to 7 or 8. Down on the ground with culling I can get up to 11 or 12.

The first download link for HD_F was pointing to the wrong file.
Its name was HD_F but inside was HD_F_MTL. This explains the strange error reports in the last several hours.
The links are fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The 3x view distance seems really buggy, I've installed this correctly and alone without other mods, and once i switch on extended view distance the game lags down from 200+fps to 5fps, then closes without warning after a few seconds. i'm too lazy to look through 160+ pages of comments so I'm sorry if it's already been said.

Triple view distance, naturally, triples the distance that you load chunks.
By the wonder of squares, that multiplies the number of chunks you're loading (and thus, RAM usage) by NINE. As mentioned, FAR + FAR can easily use 6.5 GB of RAM. The crash is most likely running out of RAM (although I thought it had a graceful error message for that...)
I wouldn't say it's exactly FPS / 9 like like sp614x describes, but it's significant.
FARx3 is just an insane distance anyway. I would think a chunk at that distance would be barely more than a pixel, if that.

Yep, it most likely will. I got it working with IndustrialCraft, Battle Towers, HD textures from MCPatcher and Balkon's Weapons Mod.

He can't make it work with GLSL Shaders. I don't believe, they aren't compatible with each other.

Thanks for the info.
Does it look nice?
Can we get a rough idea of when the full multi-threaded version might be ready?

It's not a bug, it's how the game works.
