I hope that the new release solves the problem OptiFine to 1.4.6 ... but since all the chasing to 1.4.7 ... I doubt. but really looking forward to 1.4.6. I installed a lot of mods (130) and the only problem is OptiFine. And if a version 1.4.6 do not, all the work on the compatibility of a massive amount of mods have been spent in the empty: (

I have a very interesting one. Only pics can do it justice.

I have tried nearly everything I can think of. Changing every setting, starting from scratch, updating Java and graphics drivers... im at a loss.
I am using technic pack (tried several versions of this, as well as optifine). Updated LWJGL... Out of ideas.

I donated a day ago but everytime I try to login via optifine.net for cape checking it says Cape not found, what do?

The ultra for 1.4.6 won't work. You go into a created save and you cant open GUIs and the world does not update, you start a new world and MC crashes with this error log:---- Minecraft Crash Report ----

Hmm... why is it that I can't seem to get above around 15-20 fps? I have a completely unmodded jar, but no matter what settings I put it to, it eventually reaches about that level after loading everything. 13-17 is what I usually get while playing without Optifine while looking straight forward, but with OF it increases it minimally while looking forward as well

I'd love to be able to use this program but, sadly, it crashes my game after 5 to 10 minutes.

When iron chests mod is installed with optifine it causes the chest to glitch. (staying open, dancing around)

Are you sure? I pretty much have everything maxed out performance-wise and I have Chunk Loading on Smooth. I don't have any issues other than the occasional FPS drop when loading too many new chunks while exploring.

Yes I'm sure. I have everything maxed as well and I don't have a performance hit when I change it to default chunk loading. I just like the way smooth looks better. This is clearly a bug, just wondering when the author is going to fix it.

I'm curious if you wanted to "max out" View Distance for Optifine' what type of system specs would you need? I have a modest 3.2ghz Q6600 4GB DDR2 GTX 260 192core and I can handle (with 34 mods) Far +68 but any further and I run out of memory.

I guess what I'm asking is if I had 8GB of memory would I be able to increase my view distance further?
