I have the latest version of OptiFine, the 1.3.1 B1.
I recently died on top of Obsidian blocks, near lava, and lost my things. I respawned by my bed and went and got my stuff back. I then saved and quit. When I went back, all of the things that I dropped were there once again. I collected again and had duplicates of everything. I repeated this a few times and it duplicated everything all of the times.
Could you fix it? I like playing legitly, and that made it hard. Haha.
hey, whenever i try to load a world using Multi-core chunk generation, my game crashes. i'm using an AMD 3.1ghz 8-core cpu, so i figured multi-core chunk loading would be a great idea. my graphics card is fairly outdated though, so maybe that's the problem. anyway, here's my error log:

Secondly, would it be possible to implement some sort of "Super-Tiny" render distance?
It's just that while building something, a lot of the time anyway, even "Tiny" render distance renders a whole lot more than I actually need to see.
Well, on 1.2.5, I was getting 30-40 FPS with everything on with the multi-core version.
Now, with this "Ultra" version, I get 8 FPS on the same setting. That's not a typo. That's eight frames per second.
Can we get the normal versions back? Clearly bundling everything doesn't work.
Intel Core i5-2500K @ 4.6GHz on a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard.
I've yet to buy my GTX 670, so I'm using the Sandybridge iGPU (HD 3000) overclocked to 1.7GHz from 1.1GHz.
8gb Corsair Vengeance at 1600MHz NOT in dual channel memory due to turning the heatsink towards the top exhaust. However, it was in dual channel before I moved the heatsink, and I was still experiencing lag. (I lost 1fps from single channel)
All temps and overclocks are stable.
If you need any more information, I'll be happy to get it. Just PM me so I'll see it.

What the **** is with these ridiculously strict signature rules? One image? No taller than 100px?! (That's 1.3") One URL? Two lines of text?!?! The **** is this ****?!
I've never had a huge enough issue with lag to need to come looking for this mod, even though I have always heard a lot about it. What drove me here was the Clear Water; I can't find this anywhere else, because mods that only do this seem to all be out-dated.
When I installed this, I immediately became in-love with how I was able to turn on fancy trees and not lag just from turning my camera. Everything definitely does "feel" more smooth.
However, I am now getting some SERIOUS delay with how quickly a block will "update". For example, I will place a block, but it will be a moment, sometimes as long as a full second, before it actually appears. Then, with things like gravel, sometimes blocks that have already fallen don't appear to have done so, despite their hit-boxes updating properly. This error is making building quite difficult. I have tried changing all of the settings back to what Minecraft originally had them as, other than leaving on Clear Water (since this is what I wanted), but the delay persists.
Can anybody offer a solution for this, such as some settings to change? Or, if there is no simple solution, can anybody direct me somewhere where I can find ONLY the clear water feature?

Did you go into the settings and change the "Chunk Loading" option to "Multi-Core" so it behaves like what you had before? By default, in the Ultra edition, it's not set to Multi-Core since it might have some adverse effects for some people.
Also, did you leave Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering both disabled? Enabling those can also severely affect performance.
Noticed a problem when I had the graphics set to "Fancy". When set to "Fast", the problem isn't there. It first happened I installed my texture pack and Misa's modified pack. At first, I thought it was her pack causing this but when I changed the setting, it stopped. And I have already disabled Thread optimization.
Notice the Upper left portion of the Cross-Hairs.
How can this be fixed. Also, there's a smooth lighting issue with CJB's X-Ray: all ores are seen as dark squares. Can this be fixed as well?

No clue how sp614x, the genius, will fix it, but I can tell you what it is. That is the vignette texture. I don't like it, personally, since all is does is darken the edges of your screen. :/
Seems it is not getting scale across your whole screen.
Perhaps you could set the graphics to Fast, but then set all the details (clouds, leaves, etc) to Fancy manually? Good luck!
